The REAL Nasi Lemak stall offers Fried Chicken, Chicken/Pork Rendang, Dry Shrimp Mince Pork, and Sotong Sambal in Restoran Station 8 SS2
If you want a variety of hawkers food for breakfast, its around 8am (or at least after 7:30am); the Dim Sum kiosk was probably the earliest available breakfast here at SS2's Restoran Station 8. Outdoor seating was perfect before day break.
Restoran Station 8 also offers at least 18 if not more hawker stalls, and the kopitiam is as popular as the next door 齊昇美食茶室 SS2 Rising Kopitiam and nearby old timer 新朝陽 SS2 Chow Yang!
My Personal Opinion The attraction here for me is only in the name of the stall. But I will give it a thumbs up for their larger prawns (at least larger than most CKT stalls for the same price)...but that's about it. It certainly won't join my list of to-have CKT....once was enough for me.
Hawker stalls here are generally ready towards 8am but the crowd will be bigger by then.
A plate of Char Kuey Teow (B) here cost RM7 and it comes with usual egg, fresh cockles, fish cakes and 4 large prawns which is something you don’t usually see in regular Char Koay Teow dishes. FYI, request for additional toppings of prawns, cockles, bean sprout will be denied. Also, we weren’t too sure if it was being done deliberate, but there were no Chinese sausage in James Bond Char Koay Teow. While nowhere on the level of Penang, the CKT here still tasted pretty delicious. The dish was packed with strong flavours and it was one of the most satisfying plate of CKT we’ve had in a long time. It’s worth mentioning Uncle James adds a “top secret” homemade chilli sauce while cooking his CKT which gives a spicy kick.
