The most famous foods in this shop is the 3 in 1 fried glutinous rice cake. 3 in 1 fried glutinous cake means there is a layer of sweet potato, glutinous rice cake, taro and a thin layer of frying batter.
If you have ever went to Malaysia Boleh, they do have similar stall with the same signboard selling fried durian too. It will be the best alternative if you do not have time to travel down into Johor.
What other people say is right, their Banana Cake is really tasty. It is soft and not dry, the taste of Banana is strong, i really love it. I personally will recommend their Banana Cake while for their Butter Cake, it is nice also but i prefer their Banana Cake. It seems like the owner is very generous with the ingredient they use in making these cakes. The Butter Cake is very aromatic, the same for the Banana Cakes too. Not forgetting their Coconut Bun is also something to look forward too, especially when it is serve hot directly out from their oven. The juicy taste from the Coconut taste good and really goes well with the texture of their bun wrapping around it.

In any case, I am curious to see if the banana cakes sold in the afternoon really taste better, and will be making a trip back soon.

I was pleasantly surprised to read local flavours in their Durian cake, Ondeh Ondeh and Pandan Gula Melaka cakes! They have kept it authentic because I can even see a coat of fresh coconut flakes on the Ondeh Ondeh cake and drizzles of melted Gula Melaka on top of the Pandan Gula Melaka cake!

We felt the efforts and time put in for every of Re Patisserie's creation. The creator is indeed passionate about their profession and their attitude towards implementing the tarts/pastries were laudable. I also felt that the money spent on the pastries were well worth. I do not mine revisiting the place again when I get the chance. For those who enjoy tarts and pastries, do give them a try.

Overall, I really loved their cakes and desserts and some of the cakes are priced similarly to Singapore cake prices, I feel that they are well worth the price tag as the work in making them so perfectly beautiful is tough.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my little tea break here at Chizu & Honzu.
We like the traditional mee hoon kueh, milky toast sandwich and old school kopi here.
