Everything we ordered was very tasty, if not expensive, for what it is. There’s so much we want to try on the menu that we seriously considered coming back here for dinner a few hours later. If we lived nearby, there’s no doubt that we would be regulars at Strangers at 47.
Slightly disappointed with the BBC and Coffee Orange. The butter fish rice is good.
If seafood is more your thing, there’s Miss Dory (RM22.50), comprising breaded and deep fried to golden perfection fish fillet, battered squid, citrus-cucumber onion salad, potato pumpkin mash, roasted cherry tomatoes and homemade sriracha mayo lime. All the flavours and textures — the crunchy from the fish and squid, the soft and smooth pumpkin mash plus the tangy cherry tomatoes and mayo lime — come together wonderfully.

Daging steak dia pun lembut. Masak secukup rasa. Makanan yang saya order fish & chips pun macam tak larat habis. Dan yang penting apabila saya potong fish & chips dia tidak pecah berderai. Ada setengah kedai ikan dia pecah jadi susah nak makan.
Chicken Wrap Set Lunch at MYR 12 nett. Tastes decent.
Was not disappointed with Food Foundry and certainly eager to check-out its sister operation "Butter + Beans at 17" as well as "Feeka Coffee" by Asian Age Group, the earlier in Happy Mansion as well and later in KL.
Seabass - MYR 26+ (6% GST = MYR 27.56 nett) at Food Foundry, Happy Mansion, PJ. The portion is just right for me.
Overall, nice place to hang out makan dan borak borak. Tapi jangan kuat sangat, nanti orang pandang !
What do We Like about Grub by Ahong & Friend? -Reasonably priced no frills steakhouse -Tasty steak and unique Yorkshire pudding
No better way to say I love you, than wagyu. We enjoyed our Wagyu NY Strip MB01 and Angus flanksteak from Grub by Ahong & Friends.
Don’t be fooled by its shop appearance and weird name, they actually serve one of the best steak in town at an affordable price. We are lucky to get a buy 1...

Note - limited seat indoors (7 tables) and outdoors (3 tables + 4 counter seats) - more a coffee place with limited cakes & pastries - came on Sun, 2.30pm and got an outdoor table but later moved to indoor table - nice place to chill on a hot Sunday afternoon
虽然这里不是专业的烘焙店,也没有自制的面包西点,但是氛围不错。
The Cafe also offers a variety of beverages including Coffee Mock-tail, Signature Coffee, and Espresso-Based Coffee.
Pesto Pasta with Onsen egg lunch set at MYR 15.90 nett
I only had eyes, however, for the Cheezy Meltdown (RM19). The sandwich was all I had hoped for – cheesy goodness with a good balance of textures. The cheese tasted a lot like the KFC cheese sauce, and got a little overwhelming after a while. Even one slice was very filling. If you’re a small eater, I suggest getting this to share.
Given the steep pricing, I probably wouldn’t visit this restaurant again. I mean RM20+ for fried rice and egg? That’s wayyyy overboard. I’d probably only drop by here again unless a friend wishes to try it out, but then again I would still recommend Strangers at 47 just down the road.
Food: 8/10 – Omelette is perfect. Dish could add more veges Price: 7/10 – Pricier side. Starting from RM18 Ambiance: Service is good. Staffs are friendly Would I Return?: Yes! When my craving strikes for Mentaiko
Omu Hamburg Steak 24.90 But the omlette was too bland to provide any additional taste to the burger steak. The burger steak was all right, it tasted like just another frozen burger steak, it was pretty dry. The vegetables were so bland and raw that they totally dull the whole dish. I think the dish would have tasted so much better if they made the effort to fire grill those vege and give them an additional flavour to complement the dish. So this dish was a total fail in our opinion.
The noodle was okay but the tom yum flavor was rather mild – as in, you can hardly taste it. If I were to close my eyes and taste it, tom yum mee hoon would not be the first thing I’d say to describe it. That being said, as a basic dish of noodles, it was pretty nice, worth the RM 3.50, I suppose.
除了 Cendol 和 Ice Kacang,店里还有各式各样的糕点和面包,Gula Melaka 戚风蛋糕软绵绵的,也很受欢迎,如果还未卖光不妨试一下,让它成为你这个下午吃冰的总结。
For folks in PJ, Kwong Wah Ais Kacang at Happy Mansion serves up a good version of cendol that hits the spot squarely. A bowl will set you back RM 5.50, and there’s often a queue on hot weekend afternoon. But if you love cendol the way I do, this should satisfy.
Personal Summary: Bright and broad environment, suitable for large group and big family. Superfine serves healthy breakfast and lunch, as well as wide variety of beverages - up to craft beer! Friendly and attentive service crew.
Reasons to visit Nyght at Superfine: a diverse menu that fits well together; plenty of both plant-based and meat-loving items; must try the Unthinkable Unagi, Roasted Cauliflower, Pesto Rice Bowl, their house-brewed Kombucha and Tepache.
I bought a slice of marble cake at MYR 9 nett and asked for the slice of marble cake to be kept inside my container from home. The cake is buttery and not that sweet so it tastes good.
Tomato Chicken Pasta with Parmesan Cheese sprinkled on top at MYR 18 nett. I like the portion because it is quite small so I could finish eating all the pasta.
Hideaway是灵市新开的咖啡馆,隐藏在组屋底层,驱车经过稍不注意就会错过。这间微带英伦风的咖啡馆与斑驳的建筑物融成一体,为这个地区增添一抹新色彩,也添加了一些活力。
Both dishes ordered were recommended, crowd favorites. The Cordon Bleu was well plated, I liked how it was presented. Tasted good too. The dish consisted of 5 pieces of chicken that was wrapped in cheese. Then, once breaded the ones here are pan fried and then tossed in the oven. I dig the texture, crispy on the outside, chewy and dense on the inside, flavorful too. The chicken was served on a bed of salad, some mushroom, tomatoes, salsa, greens. A tasty dish indeed.

Canard a l’Orange, RM 42 This French classic main course stunned us with how brilliant and vibrant the combination of flavors were. It simply consists of French roast duck, orange sauce and sides of salad. Naturally one of the trickiest things was to ace the orange sauce so its acidity doesn’t overpower the whole dish. Luckily for Terrasse Cafe&Bistro, they nailed it in terms of taste, presentation and the juiciness of the duck. The sauce and meat pairs well together. The roast duck was generous in portion and tender for most part. Can be shared with 2 people.
We’ve tried a few canelés all around town, and we’ve found that Doux Doux has perfected the contrast between the caramelised crust and the soft, mellow centre, which makes for a very satisfying textured bite.
The order of the day are canelés which come in 3 sizes – mini, original and signature, ranging from RM4 to RM12. The outside is crusty and caramelised, while the inside is custardy and moist. I’ve tried the plain original, matcha and rum vanilla. All are very good, though the rum isn’t significantly apparent
What do We Like about Belly & The Chef, Seksyen 17? -Pleasant environment -Hearty breakfast sets served by the restaurant
My dinner was Japanese style fried chicken (Katsu Don), and I think the Yin Yong means one side chicken and one side eggs, the taste tends to the sweet side, i liked it.
My unagi rice bowl lunch set at MYR 16 nett. The Onsen Egg here is more like a soft boiled egg on the way to be a hard boiled egg but still with runny yolk so I took both eggs home and recooked them to be fully cooked with half of my rice. The pieces of unagi are a bit on the thin side but acceptable.
The Unagi and Cucumber was delicious. However, do you notice the size of the Unagi? Way too small. There was quite a bit of rice in the bowl and after only 6 spoons, the Unagi was gone. Why laaaaa? Why? I want a bigger piece, please? The unagi + poached egg + rice + cucumber combo was very good. The distinct taste of the unagi with the soggy, moist, sticky combination of the egg and rice was something I enjoyed a whole lot but even before I hit the ‘satisfied’ mode, the Unagi is gone. Howwwlaa like that?? That is why I had to order roast chicken as add on. There were still quite a bit of rice left and it needed some meat – the chicken was a good addition. It certainly dont compare to the Unagi but it makes a good substitute.
Overall, we enjoy the dining experience from its food and ambiance.

Lunch: Char siew thin noodles at MYR 10.90+ (10% service charge = MYR 11.99 nett round up to MYR 12 nett). The minced pork is too salty for me and the lard taste is very strong for this bowl of noodles
The fried noodles Mali Cai is on the oily and salty with a tinge of sweet side. It reminded me of the Blood Cockles / See Ham fried noodles that I used to eat when young. Mali Cai (马尼菜) is Sauropus androgynus, also known as star gooseberry, or sweet leaf, cekur manis, sayur manis, or cangkuk manis. I like to eat Mali Cai and the pieces of eggs in this dish but would prefer the noodles to be less salty. I kept half the noodles for dinner.
And of course, a must to have would definitely be the Medium Rare Sliced Beef, Beef Balls and Beef Tendon. The delicious portion of meat which is beautifully sliced and served together with the silky and velvety pho. Amazingly good!
Looking forward perhaps at its other outlets to try the Bun Cha (grilled pork noodles) which both looks and sounds interesting!
Overall the food is quite alright although the service can be improved. Its a bit difficult to get the staff attention so the faster way is to order and pay at the counter yourself.
The prawn mee tastes good, just that short of the wok hei, it can be stronger. The gravy and sambal are good too. Overall a good plate of mee with lot of seafoods in it.
Overall, the space is immaculately clean and we enjoyed the Hokkien mee. They are opening a branch in SS15 Subang Jaya soon – so look out for it!
As for the noodles – it was tasty with sufficient wok hei, although we noted a hint of alkaline taste from the yellow noodles (but not enough to deter us from enjoying the dish). The gravy was rich in flavour as it was cooked for hours with prawns, pork bones, chicken and other seasonings.
The Banana Loaf is the most affordable item on the menu at RM 10, it also happened to be my all time favorite besides carrot cake, a slice of banana bread. Yumm! Here, you’d get a large slice of it. The taste and flavor of banana was evident as well as some cinnamon and bit of walnuts. Just like the tart, this too pleasantly sweet. I enjoyed this dish too. Perhaps the next time I give this ago, I’d request them to heat it up a bit before serving, simply because I generally like it a little soft and denser. Other than that, its all good.
This was another yummy dish. It was pesto pasta with chicken, cherry tomatoes, pine nuts, parmesan cheese. The dish was neither wet or dry, just good enough to create a nice mix. The taste of pesto was evident and all the other ingredients fit in perfectly. An awesome dish.
