The round croissant Passionfruit La LeBombz was layered, flaky, buttery and a bit heavy, although the passionfruit cream was just a tad too sweet.
We would not stand in a long queue for circular croissants but, having tried La Levain’s La LeBombz, we would say they are “worth the hype.”
The quality & variety of fresh artisanal bakes will be the main reason to visit La Levain bakery cafe; nice cosy spot for coffee and pastry.
Lucid – Coffee at Hamilton Road Lavender
Lucid is a bright contemporary cafe that can be a haven for those who want some peace and quiet. It is a great place for good coffee.
I will definitely be back to try more of their bakes too!
Not hard to see why I keep coming back to Mahota Kitchen for their healthy, scrumptious food items, can you?
All the guiltless treats featured above can be ordered online at Kekito Bakery.
After eating, we didn’t feel heavy. The ingredients are indeed good quality, which contributes to how delicious the food is. I do wish the food is more affordable and I regret ordering the salad which is so little.
Prices are reasonable. The space is pleasant and cosy and the service is good. It is an inviting place to go to get into a good mood. The next time I need to placate the Mrs, I shall take her to Missus.
Freshly opened, this new stylish cafe has a little Mid-Eastern influence in their menu. Head down for some delicious desserts too!
Small coffee place with heart, good to give some support if you are in the vicinity.
Situated at Fragrance Hotel – Imperial along Penhas Road—just a short walk away from the Lavender train station—this coffee kiosk is a great spot for those who work in the neighbourhood.
Brawn & Brains Coffee is a spot that we often find ourselves at; it is a place where they have passion behind their food and coffee and take pride in the craft.
With the increasing number of Taiwanese Cafe in Singapore, 8 Degrees is one of the popular ones among us to go to for authentic Taiwanese Food. The place is easily located as they are just located beside the popular Cheng Mun Chee Kee Pig Organ Soup.
The menu does set itself apart from your typical cafe offerings, and the items I’ve ordered certainly were more hits than misses. I can definitely see myself making return trips to D’Vine Cafe, both for the vibes as well as the food!
I find this place quite Instagram-worthy and the environment really amused me. Comparing food wise and ambiance, I will prefer the latter as food was quite standard besides their specialties of Tiramisu in Glass Jars.
Perhaps having not tried the meals courses here, it will give be a good reason to be back here again!
I am glad that The Tiramisu Hero continues to thrive and I would visit it again should I be in that area. The charming cafe has good food and coffee and their refreshing light tiramisu is a delight.
Gather your loved ones over hearty brunch dishes during the day, or enjoy a range of craft beer and dinner service from 5pm onwards.
Considering the relatively reasonable prices by cafe standards, 11 Hamilton is worth checking out.
I recommend for you to give them a try if you are in the area looking for some quality steak, cake, octopus and bread (not necessarily all of it in that order)!
I really liked the environment of For The People and would absolutely return to chill out with a good book and cup of coffee.
Overall, For The People sets out to do what founder Vanessa intended: to keep it simple and easy.
For The People is a nice and unpretentious cafe. We like the aesthetically-pleasing space, which young entrepreneur owner Germaine Chow describes as “inspired by a modern minimalist mood to create a warm and inviting feel”.
