Overall, I find that Qin Ji has a better and crispy Rougamo as compared to the one I recently had.
I've never liked the roujiamo at Qin Ji. Despite how awesome the crispy flaky carbs were, it was always ruined by the mucilagenous gravy that came with the meat.
More notably, I'm still rather disappointed in their roujiamo, which continues to have a crispy flaky bun, but also a goopy meat pie-like filling, even if the cumin version that I had today was a little spicier. I'm starting to lose interest in this place.
If I'm in the area, I'd rather eat here than at the soup stalls at Boon Tat Street or Telok Ayer Road, only because of the air-conditioning.
