Just like what they mentioned via words of mouth, the taste was traditionally good. No doubt they are famous, I still find that there are tastier fried chicken wings in Singapore. Nonetheless, the pricing of the chicken rice was perfectly reasonable.

However, if I were to judge this as Hainanese Chicken Rice in Singapore, I would say there are better options out there as I still prefer my chicken with skin and dressed in the usual light soya sauce with sesame oil combo instead of just dark soya sauce.

Although I’ve had better chicken rice, I would still revisit Hainan Chicken Rice Ball for traditional chicken rice balls, a dish that is slowly disappearing in our hawker scene.
