My porridge comes with ingredients like liver, pig stomach, you tiao, sliced pork and fish topped with spring onions, preserved tang chye and shallot oil. The add-on egg gives the smoothness and enhances the overall flavours. I like the thick and grainy porridge texture, which gives a homely feel.
