Seafood Paradise has to be one of my favorite Chinese seafood restaurant in the whole of Singapore. With hearty portions that is value for the quality, Seafood Paradise seeks to marry both traditional and modern Chinese techniques found in many types of Chinese cuisine, such as Cantonese, Teochew, and Hokkien.

The food at Seafood Paradise is enjoyable and I can see myself coming here for family gatherings.
Experience the flavors of Spain in the heart of Singapore at Tapas Club VivoCity – where authentic Spanish cuisine meets vibrant dining ambiance.
The suckling pig was a bit too porky though with skin that could be more crispy, the paella a bit too wet, and the creme brulee a bit too dense and sweet. A mixed meal of sorts.
Overall we were happy with the food at the relatively new Tapas Club Vivo City outlet (it is not the newest, that honour goes to the one that just opened at the Jewel in Changi Airport).
Peony Jade Keppel Club, one of the most popular Chinese restaurants in Singapore, reopens in Tanjong Pagar as Peony Jade Amara.
The Peony Jade’s Ala Carte Cantonese Dinner Buffet offers endless of variety for whatever you crave.
The Peony Jade’s Ala Carte Cantonese Dinner Buffet offers endless of variety for whatever you crave. It is indeed the best choice in town for family gatherings or a celebration for special occasions.
While the name black society doesn’t raise any eyebrows literally, its Chinese translation refers to secret societies, also known as gangs, ...
fried rice was good..
Well, the food was better than I was expecting, with things like pasta that wasn't overcooked, as well as those fried mushrooms above that stayed crisp and airy without being over-battered (yes, in case you were wondering, that was basically laziji but with mushrooms in place of chicken).
Ambience at LeNu Chef Wai’s Noodle Bar is modern, casual, and functional, as befits their concept.
A French-Chinese wordplay on the moniker "The Cow", Le Nu is a Taiwanese beef noodle bar concept under the Paradise Group.
The Paradise Group seems to be aggressively expanding their brand lately. With NamNam doing so well and the nation loves for ramen, it was not a surprise that Paradise Group may just find a niche market to success with LeNu (樂牛), Taiwan Beef Noodle Bar.
The combination of fantastic food, excellent service and VIP treatment makes our visit particularly memorable.
整体用餐体验十分令人满意,虽然食物价位较高,舒适的用餐环境和高品质的食材绝对物超所值,让食客回味无穷,值得再光顾。
Perhaps it was our day as we did not have any unpleasant encounters with the lady behind the stove. Overall, the taste is on average with pocket-friendly pricing. Looks like its time to explore other stalls within that Food Centre.
Seah Imm Hawker Centre is a food centre I frequented often in my youth as it offered the cheapest option to fill up my tummy before I steppe...
The stall uses thick bee hoon (rice vermicelli) and round yellow noodles.
For those who have cravings for La Mian and Xiao Long Bao, Crystal Jade Jiang Nan at VivoCity still offers a selection of noodle dishes and dim sum on the menu.
The best tables at Crystal Jade Jiang Nan VivoCity are those ensconced within the wooden dividers.
I love the revamped interior of Crystal Jade Jiang Nan and a handful of dishes truly impressed. It is the place for a hearty meal with family and friends.
I finally got around to trying the laziji from Qiu Jin Xiao Chao. It was spicier, saltier, and greasier than I was expecting, and in a good way.
Here's the shuizhuniu from Qiu Jin Xiao Chao. It wasn't the spicy, greasy, salty mixture that I was expecting, but was instead more like a smooth beef soup that I still enjoyed.
OK, I come here a lot. After all, it's cheap, fast, and good. And it is generally healthy, if you don't end up shoveling down multiple bowls of rice with that spicy oil and instead opt for some veggies.
When we got the bill, we were given more yoghurt. With honey. Nice.
Overall, we had mixed feelings about the food that we tried that day. But we enjoyed the experience of going through an unfamiliar menu and trying some new items.
So highly recommend to eat this Pu Tien Personal Set Lunch 莆田 午市一人套餐 $16.80 Nett Per Pax!
If I read it correctly, "Serindia" refers to Xinjiang. And while I have no idea what niang refers to, Xibu Mahua (or more likely, Alijiang next door) is doing this plate that was a lot like Shaanxi liangpi. And it was just as deliciously refreshing.
Their noodle selection is limited to just four types here, but they offer multiple broths, including a hong shao and tomato version, the former of which had an impressively deep soy sauce flavor. I didn't try the tomato version, but the spicy one was on point and arguably better than Shejianjian. The beef is more fatty and tender here too.
Next time I want to try their pickled and dry bowls to see how they fare.
Service here is swift and courteous.
The duck here has quite a nice tender texture which does not taste dry or have the gamey smell.
Seah Im Food Centre is opposite Habourfront Centre and the nearest MRT Station is Habourfront. Just follow the signs to Exit A and walk about 2 minutes to the food centre.
If you are seeking old school taste and with a healthier choice option, I bet this stall should fit you best. They do not use pork lards and use healthier and lesser oil in cooking.
This is quite an interesting variation of the Hokkien Mee and a healthier one at that! If you are craving for Hokkien Mee but does not want the guilt, this could be your answer.
With four outlets, and more on the way, Feng Xiang is clearly winning the hearts of many with its hearty and delicious offerings. If you like what you see in our post, head on over to one of Feng Xiang’s outlets with your loved ones and have a feast! We are confident that you won’t be disappointed!

CNY is just round the corner and as we bid farewell to the Year of the Pig, it's the time of the year to book those tables early or reserve the takeaway sets and avoid disappointment.
I can foresee myself coming back just for the Wanton Mee again and again.
London Fat Duck @ VivoCity is a great place for a decent Dim Sum meal.
