We opted for Teo Chew-styled Steamed Pomfret and the result was amazing. The sauce had a balanced medley of sour, spicy and salty notes; it was clear, clean without burdening the fish... and yes, the fish was very fresh
V1 Susu, also known as We want Susu. Is the treading place for a mug of good milk and others. This shop is hidden from the main road and need to drive into the kampung (rural) area. The milk here is fresh from the farm and the taste is creamy and aromatic. My personal preference is the original flavor. The 4 flavored drink (四大天王) is also one of the yummy drinks available here in V1 Susu. The best part is the ingredients in the drink is secret recepie while you need to try out yourself for the rest of the flavor beside the one that can be seen.
Valdor Ai Xuan Tomyam Mee 爱碹夜市海鲜粥 is one of the places near Batu Uban, Penang that see reasonable yet flavourful Tomyam and also porridge. The ingredients in the Tomyam and Porridge are self pick while the noodle also having a few options. The thick and nice Tomyam soup is an addiction for those that visited this place before.
Back to the Tosai Stall, (also have Indian Economy Beehoon, and Nasi Lemak), which is accompanied by the most wonderful Fish curry sauce (No fish serve). To day I Had some Half Boil eggs as well. Oh yes do go early, if late, may be sold out.
