The ingredients were quite straight-forward but they were all fresh; worth-mentioning one was the hand-pulled noodle that comes with a performance though the server did not really "pull" the noodles well... leaving a huge knot at the end.
The taste of the wantan mee are almost the same as before despite the chewiness of the noodle not as much and the gravy is more starchy. As for the Char Hor Fun, the taste is packed with wok aroma.

Polo Bun with Butter (菠萝油) – RM4.50, a very typical Hong Kong pastry. The top of the bun was covered with slightly sweet crust while the inner of the bun was stuffed with a piece of creamy butter. In Penang, it is so difficult to get Polo Butter Bun. That is the reason I came to this cafe to try out the bun. It is in fact one of their best-sellers and usually sold out by noon. The top crust was so nice and the bun was soft and warm. Having it with soft and creamy butter was simply satisfying. This bun is perfect when it is served warm.
For the menu, although I thought that the price is wallet-friendly but the choices are limited.

Went to Ong Cheng Huat Seafood Restaurant after almost 20 years ago..........
Since there are only 3 of us, all ladies, so we ordered two (2) of their signature fried chickens. It cost only RM6.50 per chick. It was well marinated and fried to perfection. It is called "chien kae kia" or fried baby chicken in local Hokkien dialect.
Verdict: Revisit? Most probably yes if I happen to be at Butterworth again. I highly recommend the Deep Fried Spring Chicken and Fried Mee Hoon. I also read a lot good comment regarding their steamed Red Snapper, try it out if you have plan to dine in here.
SeaQueen Restaurant Straits Quay Tanjung Tokong
Overall, the dim sum was good and the ambiance was also very comfortable. There is a multi-storey carpark at Straits Quay. As for the price, I would say it is considered reasonable judging by its location and ambiance. The ingredients used to prepare the dim sum were also very fresh. This is the ideal place for people living nearby to have dim sum without the hassle of going to town.

One of the dish that caught our attention is Loy Kee Wanton Noodle as a number of patrons in other tables have it ordered on their table. We did not realized we have tried it previously when they used to operate at Lebuh Kimberly. The noodles were served al-dente and briming with nice sesame oil flavour, although we felt the pepper was overwhelming. On the other hand, we also had the wanton soup and enjoyed it much. The wanton is packed with nicely seasoned filling.
the food here is pretty good though.
Meanwhile, don’t miss the Kuantan Road curry mee served in a soup boiled with a combination of coconut milk and chili. A standard bowl of curry mee comes with a choice of noodles, along with beansprouts, cuttlefish, cockles, taufu bok, prawns, and pig’s blood cubes. If you are really hungry, have the curry mee with extra roast pork.

One of my favorite dishes is the steamed glutinous rice 糯米饭. It is certainly not a dish I expected to find in a restaurant. Unlike the more common lor mai kai, this humble dish of lor mai fan is served with only dried shrimps, roasted peanuts, and spring onions. The sticky rice turned out well with firm chewy texture. The soup not really thick but it have the aromatic hint of coconut and curry blend in it. The bowl of curry mee is served with the noodles, cuttle fish, coagulated pig blood and tauhu-pok and the curry paste. Indulge this sinfully addictive bowl of curry noodles and you will totally in love with them.
Today it is mainly handled by their grandniece and grandnephew, who will be taking over the stall to carry on the culinary traditions of their aunts.
