The Curry Chicken (RM 6.30) is actually a bowl of curry chicken with potatoes wrap by a bao. It is nice and tasty, and it has many types of bun and seems quite popular.
🥟 Handmade Vegetable Bao (most popular choice here)💵 from RM2.20 / bun[Non-Halal]Plenty other choices where you can refer to from the menu!00:00 Intro00:20...
In this episode, we are trying at one of Klang's famous Bak Kut Teh restaurant called Teluk Pulai Bak Kut Teh, probably one of the best Bak Kut Teh we've ever eaten by far!
A wide variety of tea to choose from and those with big appetite and order their cruller for soaking in soup.
Bak Kut Teh (herbal pork rib soup) with assorted ingredients.
Love the Mee Hoon Kuih here, nice springy texture, tasty soup and really crunchy ikan bilis (maybe too salty).
It is a famous spot for a hearty bowl for local and those from out of town. Mee hoon kueh is rarely found in KL and sometime is available in pan mee shop if they have this mee hoon kueh variety.
A good outing for me and go for two bowls if you can stand the heat from the soup and eating without air-con.
Weng Heong’s BKT in Klang is one of our favourites for the thick and fatty broth, and choice cuts that make a substantial meal.
Weng Heong Bak Kut Teh 永香海参肉骨茶 in Klang serves a good bak "wet" kut teh but their "dry" bak kut teh is better.
Its signature dish is Sea Cucumber Bak Kut Teh (海参肉骨茶), but we are not planning to try this dish today.

Very unique herbs with gravy rather than soup based. The pork is really tender & juicy from the long hours of boiling & simmering.
I enjoyed scrapping bottom and scooping it up and mixing it with my rice. Delightful
During our last makan trip to Klang, a Klang native recommended us to try Kee Heong Bak Kut Teh in Taman Eng Ann. This is where she would bring her KL friends to enjoy this staple, mainly because of their great consistency in maintaining the food quality
What do We Like about Ah Her & Samy Bak Kut Teh? -The bak kut teh soup though not too strong in the herbal taste, but was delicious -The shop allowed add on of soup without extra charge.
This is the breakfast for the champion labourers.
This shop is relatively famous already and can be easily found online as many a food hunter have written about this.
Overall, its a must-visit & check out the Asam Laksa at Angce Peoh in Bukit Tinggi, Klang. It is definitely worth the trip for anyone who loves & crave for a good bowl of Asam Laksa. The flavors are authentic and delicious, and the dish is serves with generous portions of fresh ingredients. I will definitely be coming back for more!
Angcle Peoh
Tasty and affordable fried porridge, filled with dried squid and yam. The meatballs are below average.
Crab Bee Hoon where the minimum order is around rm$90 with 3 crabs fried with the rice noodle (very expensive!). A very interesting dish!
Overall, a good eat and reasonably priced and for those who can't wait at Four Eye, this can be an alternative, or they can move further afield for their meal.
The soup was out of this world. It should be the best in Klang.
I will be back for their "dry" bah kut teh which my friends say I must try 😋
Ribs at Peng Heong undoubtedly were the highlight, juicy and perfectly grilled. So was the mutton curry, the curry was thick and flavorful.
The restaurant also offers Claypot Curry Mutton, and the list goes on in their menu!
This place seems very popular, with good coffee and toast. FKT and Wanton Noodle are acceptable.
Cheong Foh Kopitiam is more than just a breakfast spot; it’s a living piece of Klang’s history. As you savor each bite and sip, you can’t help but feel a connection to the past. So, the next time you find yourself in Klang, make sure to check out this Kopitiam and let its nostalgic charm and delightful flavors transport you to a simpler time.
Nasi Lemak Bungkus, Economic noodles with curry, basic dim sum like pau, siew mei, fried fish cake, fried wan tan,loh mai kai and etc...as for drinks they only served loh hon kor and red bean soup.
It is a beautifully decorated shop serving some local Chinese cuisines. The coffee is nice, albeit a bit expensive. Our dessert is okay.
In conclusion, TeoChew Nang Cafeteria is more than just a restaurant; it’s a culinary journey that takes you back in time while indulging your taste buds in the authentic flavors of TeoChew cuisine. From the comforting TeoChew porridge to the kueh chap, and the delightful tau suan youzakuey. Each dish reflects the heart and soul of TeoChew cooking. We liked its soup bak kut teh, the soup was flavourful yet not overwhelmed in taste
Soon Seng not only serves Bak Kut Teh but also chinese dishes.
What do We Like about Soon Wah Seafood Restaurant -Tasty fish pot with meaty fish and milky soup -Reasonably priced fish pot at RM 58 for two pax
What do We Like about Ninety Nine Seafood Restaurant, Klang? -The fresh steamed fish -The big portion of fried chicken chop with the Thai style sauce -The shop was airy and not stuffy/ hot at all during an afternoon with hot sun
Restoran 99 has been around for 28 years, occupying this same two lots' corner with additional space.
Xiao Ming Kopitiam has an iconic hong kong cafés design looks, lovely mosaic tiles which makes it looks very vintage and perfect for the next best spot for your Instagram worthy shot.
Kedai Kopi Ti Ee, where you finds the nostalgia and flavor old-school dim sum come to life. As the sun sets, this quaint spot opens its doors, welcoming night owls to indulge in a delightful array of steamed treasures served over bamboo baskets.
This family-run dim sum business enjoys a strong patronage from both loyal and new customers. With the convenience of mass produced dim sum these days, due credit should be given to this family for keeping their dim sum strictly homemade for four decades. The food is not exactly cheap, but reasonable considering the quality, quantity and tasty.
Price wasn't too bad, as 6 items was less then rm$6.
