My personal favorite is Dua Sua Ka Japanese Curry Rice, the curry is not spicy and not too salty, the taste is just food with a lot of Chicken and serve with white rice.

They are famous for Yam Rice or we call it “or pui” serve with a mix bowl spare part of pork. Inclusive blood, intestine, pork balls, pork slices, pork kidney and others. Each bowl are made upon order and currently, you will have to wait at least 30 – 45 minutes for your order. It used to be only 10-15 minutes.
Overall, the price at Rutin is on the steeper side but undoubtedly the portion serving here is relatively large and tastes good.

To be clear, this isn't on Sentosa island in Singapore, but rather the name of an open air kopitiam in Bukit Mertajam on the mainland side of Penang (1 Jalan Sentosa). My teammate suggested this place for lunch today, as it is well-known among locals on the non-touristy side of Penang.
The traditional CUP rice is like nasi banjir. Drench in thick sauce and you can just eat it like that. I order Extra Meat @ RM 7.00 with mix meat. Find the taste is very interesting, salty, goie, some light fragrant of herb taste if I am right. Rice is soft and fluffy. A simple dish that makes up your quick lunch.

Bukit Mertajam used to have three duck egg char koay teow stalls and it had been like that for a long time. The stall in front of the old train station used to my favorite and it was manned by Ah Heng. Ah Heng then moved to Taman Quarry and the youngest brother took over his spot. Unfortunately, the youngest brother (pictured above) got into an accident a years ago and had to recuperate for some time. After he regained his strength, he reopened his stall outside Fresh Food Court – which can be considered a totally different side of the town.

Their Sweet & Sour Mock Pork was another lovely preparation. The mock meat was still dry, had a little bit of moistness and the cucumber and cauliflower add on's were good. 9/10 shall be my rating for this dish
Mama Vege Restaurant is a vegetarian restaurant that serve vegetarian food, so it is a suitable place for all my vegetarian friends out there.
One of its best sellers- the Fresh Prawn Wan Ton Soup was something out of the ordinary.... noodle-wise speaking. The noodles were a little different, less al-dente but sans the unpleasant lye water flavor. Not a fan of the noodles but the Wan Tons were plump and meaty... with each filled with a juicy Shrimp in it. The soup was alright... but definitely nothing to shout over.
Overall, the BBQ pork here is very delicious and addictive. However, the portion given for the price paid is considered small and insufficient. Personally, the highlight of this place is the free flow of milk tea and coffee especially for someone who always enjoys a cuppa like me.

For the Avocado with Chilled Black Glutinous Rice, we love the creamy, smooth texture of the Avocado blend but the addition of Palm Sugar overpowered the Avocado flavor. It felt a little odd to have Palm Sugar in Avocado.
