Hong Kee Porridge is a good reminiscent of home-cooked porridge that brings back the old taste.

I enjoyed that homely taste, it is a good choice for breakfast or a light lunch.

The rice was very light though, not oily or flavourful enough I thought. I had to add some of that superbly potent, spicy and slightly bitter chilli to the rice, to add flavour. Been wanting to try this for some time, since it had always been a wonder to me that a business had been named after my primary school mate’s name. The stallowners were friendly enough, despite what I have heard.

I wouldn't mind eating at Henry's. But I won't miss it if I never had a chance again. That's how it was.
