Reasons to visit WET Deck KL: striking views; fantastic central location (easily accessed by public transport and walking distance to major city centre hotspots; unusual cocktails playfully incorporating local ingredients. Hubby’s fave is the Aloe Mak!, while mine is the Flora Fauna – actually I found the entire Hornbill section light and refreshing, and really appreciated the smoothness of Ketayap Colada too.
Price:4/10(Expensive. The price of cocktail here starts at MYR45 and with some interesting drink such as Milo Kaw Kaw with whiskey, Milo, sweet condensed milk and espresso).
Reasons to visit Frank’s Bar: the crooning of Frank Sinatra and a classy jazz vibe; heavy leather furniture and classic décor; and quite possibly the best cocktails in Kuala Lumpur.
For us here in the present, it's the sort of cocktail bar one can easily lounge in thanks to a cosy vibe. Big band-era music is fed through the speakers for guests to enjoy, just loud enough to serve as background music and for you to notice from time to time but not loud enough to turn your conversations into shouting matches.
Reasons to visit Skewer Bar KL: great semi-outdoor setting; craft cocktails; KL’s first speciality cachaça bar; delicious bar snacks (and a buffet right next door if you’re still hungry.)
