I enjoyed my meal at Skai where the seafood and meat dishes are impressive. I like the Japanese elements in most of the dishes I had, and suffice to say the execution of the dishes are good. The impressive city view is still quite unbeatable in Singapore, and this is still very much the ideal venue for a romantic date night.
This is a great space to impress your date, or to entertain your foreign friends.

The environment is elegant, the service great, and the food good. I do feel that the restaurant has an old-school, classic charm, a place and system forgotten by time, but that’s a double edge sword: it could mean it isn’t serving the modern needs of people now but that in itself isn’t a bad thing, at least time slows down here from the hectic lifestyle.

Overall, it was a decent lunch, given the ambience and setting. The food wasn't spectacular (the Creme brulee was quite bad).
We couldn't try any of their desserts on menu because the set came with a chocolate fondant which we didn't want to waste. Wasn't bad.
