This bean curd was from the Whampoa Soya Bean & Grass Jelly Drinks stall. Goji berries were one of the options for topping.
Not a bad tasting gravy but not outstanding as well. The toppings were good though - prawns were naturally crunchy & sweet and the pork slices were tender.
Bean curd with red beans (or are they kidney beans?) and gingko nuts. Not so big on those beans but the gingko nuts were tender and sweet.
It's not so special that I'd go out of my way for it, but it was a high quality bowl at an affordable price.
The chicken wings were good too, but I'd rather go to R&B for those. Here, the thing to get was the crab.
The dish was absolutely transformed from decent to extraordinary by its star condiment. That sambal belachan alone is worth paying this stall a visit.
