A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
Tras Street a a highly competitive spot for restaurants, with the likes of acclaimed restaurants like Terra and Restaurant Euphoria close by. Fleur De Sel refreshed its space at the right time, and this is where you can have a good value French meal if your budget allows as the portions are hearty. Service is polished, flavours of the dishes are strong and it is definitely one restaurant not to be neglected on this street.
It is almost eight years since the Fleur de Sel restaurant opened at Tras Street, Singapore. We finally had lunch at this Michelin Plate French restaurant in Singapore.
Their crepe Suzette was one dish we didn't expect burnt ends though.
A must-try, the Tartine D'Os A Moelle ($19) of oily bone marrow lumps on sourdough toasts and garlic confit, was heart-attack on a plate.
Brasserie Gavroche has an amazing European ambiance and provides impeccable service to their guests. The dishes served are rustic styled with that fine French finish. An appealing choice for a romantic date or dinner. I will definitely be back to indulge in more of their signature dishes.
