What do we like about Tatsu InterContinental? -The freshi sashimi sushi -The juicy grilled salmon -The quiet environment on a Saturday afternoon. The staff brought us to the side with lower table and it was just us throughout the lunch. The view from window was great! -The comfortable sofa seats
Overall, the sashimi, without a doubt was great and fresh. Tempura was also done well. Crunchy skin dipped into tempura sauce elevated the taste and texture.

I do enjoy eating here and it the occasional treat that I indulge in.
My Personal Opinion I'm not a big fan of ramen and don't have it often enough for the very reasons why people find ramen appealing....for the intensely rich-flavoured pork bone broth and fatty meat. Maybe I should try a lighter soup base...or chicken ramen next time since I prefer clear, milder flavours. Still a worthy ramen option to those who adore big, bold flavours! ;)
We went for the Tonkotsu Ramen (RM25) which comes with imported thin noodles, in a delicious milky broth. It was really rich and creamy, which Baby C absolutely adores. It only still comes with one slice of chashu, along with spring onions, jew's ear mushroom and seaweed
主菜备有3款选择,我选了Beef with special mushroom sauce。 烤牛肉粒香味四溢,肉质爽嫩可口,口感带有嚼劲,搭配秘制的蘑菇酱汁特搭,不错。

Staff were good, providing useful advice, and the quality of the food was high. It’s a little bit pricey, and portions are a bit small, but that’s really the only difficulty with recommending Kiku Zakura – except one. Their vegetarian selection nearly all uses dashi sauce, so would be more suitable for pescatarians. That means there wasn’t quite the range I had hoped; however it was still worth the trip.
The portion of the dishes may seem small, but many of the items can be repeatedly ordered, so diners are sure to walk away with their tummies filled to the brim. Everything served was delicious and the raw dishes were very well handled. They were fresh, free of foul smell or taste and perfectly cut.
Gindaco at Avenue K is located at the Food Junction food court.
Reasons to visit: possibly KL’s coolest cocktail bar.
I'm not sure if the taste of Kobe wasn't as awesome as I had hoped because of the poor execution or that Kobe beef itself didn't suit my taste buds. I'm not sure I'd want to try Kobe again for fear that I may end up paying my (or someone else's) hard-earned money for something that I actually don't enjoy. But one thing I'm sure....if I do try Kobe beef again, it certainly won't be at Kobe Grand, Ampang...there was nothing grand about their Kobe beef! :P
