My kimchi jigae came with rice and 6 banchan. The tea was very diluted. The kimchi jigae was pretty good but all you get is just lots of kimchi.

Given its price tag, it’s probably one of the best Korean buffet deals in town. Even the soju and other similar brew are very reasonably priced.
For warm food, we had Chicken Bulgogi Sandwich @ RM 15.90. Love the marination and sauces of Bulgogi. Not too strong yet pairs well with some light dressing on the top and it is a great sandwich for some quick bite.
特別推薦 Tiramisu 冰酥,店家特別調製的芝士奶油搭配濃縮咖啡和冰沙,香香苦苦甜甜,讓人吃在嘴裡,涼在身上,甜在心裡!
Overall, this is indeed a Korean cafe that is selling good Bingsu. I will definitely come back again for other flavors.
Ordered the half make pork that was half pork belly and half pork marinated. At least they were not busy enough to cook for us, ensuring that it wasn't burnt. Both cuts were equally good. The marinated one didn't taste that much different from the other.
Love their Doenjang Jigge @ RM 18. Soybean paste stew is indeed aromatic, strong in soy bean paste taste, and a bit generous with the ingredient. Kimchi Jjigae @ RM 18 is a classic this where the flavour here is mild sour but slightly more on the spicy side.
Set in both al fresco as well as air conditioned dining space, Gangnam Oppa BBQ offers assorted grilled poultry (beef, chicken and pork), along its other yummy ala carte dishes such as stew plates of soup, noodles, pancake and others. For booze fans, makgeoli and maekju are also available in the menu.
I loved the pancake, it was a little crispy and tasted wonderful. But rather pricey at RM30.00.
The meat was very flavorsome and tender. Very good.
Food Rating 9/10, so so, love the Korean BBQ here – Recommended !!!~-Stamped-
This is the Ttukbaegi Bulgogi from the main menu. I had forgotten that the nice sets meals that I had been enjoying are only offered at lunchtime. The dinner set meals are only limited to soups/stews such as this one. This was very good - beef bulgogi. As usual, I packed away the carbs for my lahling to eat.
So you bet, if I want Korean, this is where I will come to. The prices here are reasonable and you get better food and better service.
I have nothing to complain about this Jeyuk Bokkeum, it is as good as should be. It had a good sweet, salty and spicy vibe that was very appetizing.
Tastewise, what can I say? It was nice enough and if you love bibimbap, then you should have no complaints. The Korea Barley Tea was very refreshing on a scorching hot day (as is everyday unfortunately).
One of the new dishes is Buldak which means "fire chicken". I should have taken the "fire" part more seriously when I ordered the Buldak Myeon with chicken (the other option is with cheese ball). It looked pretty good served like this. The three pieces of fried chicken were very crispy and crunchy (although after tasting, I suspect these were leftovers) and coated with buldak sauce. The noodles were also tossed with the fiery sauce and were rather tasty. I felt the heat but it was tolerable. But....
This kimchi jigae exceeded my expectations and to be fair, this is my first kimchi jigae and I did not know what to expect. So my judgement is based on how I feel about the taste. The broth is thick, robust and savory with a hint of tartness from the kimchi. It was definitely moreish, I wanted more and more!
My lunch set: Bibimbap, Steamed egg, iced green tea and 3 banchans (kimchi cucumbers, kimchi cabbage, macaroni vege salad) at MYR 23 nett. I kept a lot of the rice and kimchi for dinner and shared the steamed eggs with my friends. The rice is very tasty because it is slightly sticky, fat and round. I chose this Bibimbap because it has a variety of vegetables, a cooked egg yolk and none of those very flavourful sauce.
If you would like a great place for a good supper, be it alone or with a group of friends, I (do) highly recommended BingSu Cafe! I really do! BingSu Cafe offers variety choices of bingsu to suits your personal choice.
Food rating 8/10 , loving it. Recommended! -Stamped-
We had the chicken set where you can choose from with 3 flavours which are the Classic Soy, Spicy Eung or Half Half. Grab your wings choices from 6 pcs ( RM 15.50), 8 pcs (RM 19), 12 pcs (RM 28) , 20 pcs ( RM 46) and 40 pcs (RM 90) . The chickens are well marinated with their herbs and sauces and then deep fried till perfection. The spicy one had won our hearts and it is bursting with the kick of spiciness and numb our mouth too. It is just so addictive but prepared to order more drinks (as the taste come super spicy!). If you cant take spicy, go for the classic soy.
For a savory touch, I had Half a Crunchy Fried Chicken (RM27.00) to share, though I bet I can finish this all on my own, it had a fantastic crunch to it. The tender pieces of chicken came sprinkled and marinated with herbs and spices.
Anyway, when the many raved about Korean shaved ice desserts finally arrived, we were quite shocked as it came pretty massively intimidating for 3 pax, what’s more for 2 petite foodies to handle it. Nevertheless, we still dunk into it the best we could with a mixed feeling………….anticipating and bewildering at the same time (=
