My kimchi jigae came with rice and 6 banchan. The tea was very diluted. The kimchi jigae was pretty good but all you get is just lots of kimchi.

Whenever we have craving for BBQ food or Korean food, without thinking much, we would come here. Why? Because of the delicious and free-flow banchan where they emphasize quality instead of just serving the cheap food like potatoes and mayonaise laden macaroni. The best part is serving Korean glass noodles as banchan because this is normally served ala-carte in other restaurants.

My Personal Opinion If meat or Korean BBQ is your thing and you have no qualms about eating and sweating at the same time, then you should definitely consider this place for the price factor (first) and taste (second). There are very few places where you can get a meal of 7 items that's able to feed 4 people sufficiently for around RM150! O_o In fact, three small-eaters (or those on a tight budget) could possibly have a meal for RM20 with just the RM59 set and lots of banchan! ;) As far as I'm concerned, there's very little to distinguish between the taste of these Korean BBQs and unlimited banchan. Perhaps, the slight noticeable difference would be in the marination of the meats (and if you're ordering non-marinated meats, it makes no difference) and maybe the dipping sauce. So, wear as little as possible.....and indulge in a sizzling hot 'affair'! ^_~

We ordered Set 3 (RM59 - for 2-3 persons) which comes with sliced pork belly, pork shoulder and grilled baby octopus. Once you place your order, the staff will serve you with a selection of ban chan (side dishes), usually about 8 types and a salad. The ban chan are refillable (self service) and you can also help yourself to the seaweed soup.

BBQ MA EUL CUP BAB's menu is simple and easy to choose from. Diners can take their pick from the BBQ Set menu or A la carte food items. For RM79 only, you will be served with 3 choices of meats - Sliced Pork Belly, Spicy Grilled Pork Belly, and Pork Ribs marinated in soy sauce with a hearty bowl of Kimchi Stew.

No worry, there is another service provided by the shop whereby they will cook it for you at outside. In a meanwhile, you can actually eat on a clean table without having bbq smoke coming out from the bbq hot plate on your table. So far, this is the only korean bbq restaurant in KL who provides this kind of service to customers. Most of the korean bbq restaurants normally help customers to cook on their own table.
