The ambience of the restaurant was nice, beautiful Chinese Kopitiam concept, blend with heritage malay historical background, tudor style architecture. The thumbs up are for the spacious dining area, interesting mash up of Malaysian decor.
Dishes here have Tempoyak Catfish, spicy sour stingray, three taste grouper, Beef bone soup, Fried spice chicken and delicacies other appetizers. also served in the sets are chicken papric, mix vegetables, tom yam, omelette and malay traditional cakes. Price started at as low as RM29.90 up to RM59.90.
Hubby had the Nasi lemak beef rendang (RM9.90) which came with similar condiments to mine (the egg, sambal, crispy cracker, peanuts and ikan bilis) and the beef rendang was served in a separate bowl. We found it to be slightly sweet and quite saucy (we prefer thicker rendangs) and the beef was not tender enough. The fried chicken version was definitely miles better.
Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken - MYR8.90 nett. The portion of rice is quite small which is good for me as I am a small eater but this means there are too much sambal and curry sauce. The rice here has a slightly salty taste.
Food is okay.
