Dessert was a rasamalai. We were a little worried that these would taste like wet cardboard but they didn't. It was nice and juicy.
We enjoy our Indian food, but there are some highlights at Rang Mahal that make us crave for it now, though be prepared to splurge for a meal here.

Kebabchi may no longer be at Makansutra Gluttons Bay, but there is still a Pakistani stall there serving food into the evening, and this chicken karahi sounded like just the thing that I needed. It wasn't as pretty as Kebabchi's rendition, but it was still deliciously savory and refreshing with its tomato, ginger, and chili pepper coating those smoky and tender pieces of chicken. I cleared that pan with ease despite not really liking their poofy naan.
