这家位于Relau Golden Triangle公寓楼下的店屋 -- 北投鱿鱼 Beitou Squid Snack 的卤肉饭、锅贴和红烧肉真的超好吃的,Cony大力推荐!!!
The Braised Pork On Rice (RM 4.00) in the menu immediately caught our attention. As the name suggests, this simple dish has piece of small braised pork topping the white rice, with its gravy diffuses into the rice slightly. The braised pork has decent proportion of lean and fatty meat, giving a pleasant and not surfeiting greasy feeling but it lacks the potent effect.
I like all the food here, it is tasty but i feel it is too small in size.
Here's the location.
If you are into getting a quick bite during lunch or dinner, then here would be a good place.
During our visit, we had a bowl of Jumbo Curry Mee (RM 13.90). It did not disappoint, as the Jumbo Curry Mee still carry their aromatic curry soup traits, and the addition of various ingredients such as roasted pork, cockles, beancurd skin were complementing the noodles well. Add on some of their signature chili paste for a more spicy sensation.
In summary, Restoran Pen Mutiara's fish head curry is special indeed.
At the far end of Teluk Kumbar is a quiet fishing village named Gertak Sanggul; unlike Batu Ferringhi, Gertak Sanggul is a non-touristy place with no hotels, only local fishermen and pristine white beach, making it one of the famous places to picnic for the locals. One notable place at Gertak Sanggul is the Seafood Fishing Stage well-concealed in some of the residences. It has a man-made pond that allows fishing enthusiasts to fish; in the evenings, it is transformed into a family restaurant that specializes in offering seafood (sourced from the local fishermen). It is a place most suitable for families that want to take their kids a step nearer to nature and to dine-in amidst the serene neighborhood. There's no standard menu and is subject to the daily supplies (sourced locally) but do check with them on the prices before you order (some can be very expensive). If you plan to visit this place, do be there early or expect to wait for at least an hour, the serving speed can be a little slow.
i personally love their food here, with good food and comfortable environment that is all i need for a chilled weekends.
Presumably sous-vided and seared, the 64.5 Degree Celsius Free Range Chicken had a juicy-tender texture served over a bed of creamy mashed and stir-fried Mushrooms. The Chicken was beautifully seasoned and palate-pleasing but not with a "wow" factor. Nevertheless, we thought the food was great despite the steep prices. Would love to come back if they could offer more comfortable seating.
The well-known Japanese restaurant has recently undergone a major renovation and is now back with an elegant classy set up.
Recently, we managed to try 7-course Omasake at Kampachi at Hotel Equatorial Penang, which means letting the chef decide the menu for you using the seasonal fresh items from Japan. It was totally a delighting experience to enjoy fresh Japanese Yellowtail Sashimi, Kyoho Grapes, Hokkaido Asparagus, and many more. The omasake course starts at RM 218+, depending on the availability of seasonal ingredients.
The Kampachi EQ Sunday Buffet is available every Sunday from 12.00pm to 2.30pm, priced at RM168 nett per adult and RM78 nett per child (age 5 to 10
Navigation skills are important to locate Super Crab Aroma Seafood Restaurant (蟹王香海鲜饭店), a 2 year old restaurant branched from Petaling Jaya. The restaurant well-hidden at the residential neighborhood of Sungai Ara specializes in serving Crabs and Seafood dishes. Choices are aplenty here (Malaysian-Chinese chu char dishes) but some might not be available so it is best to call to make reservation in advance. For crabs, the restaurant offers more than 12 serving methods but the signature remains as the Malaysian classic Chili Crabs; subject to availability, the restaurant offers Super Crabs as well... with each crab weighs more than 900 grams. Price points are of upper-middle but the wide variety is set to please, the air-conditioned restaurant can be a good choice as a casual family dining spot. To find Super Crab Aroma Seafood Restaurant, turn into the junction right in front of Hope Children on Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim and go straight (via Persiaran Relau) until you almost hit another junction, the restaurant can be found on the left... tucked in a semi-detached corner unit (previously Cherry Blossom Thai Restaurant for those who are in the know).
There are LIVE Lobster / Prawn / Crab in this restaurant. So - you always go chance to eat the FRESH SEAFOOD here
The main reason why regular patrons keep coming back to Foong Yean has got nothing to do with the dining atmosphere- though fully air-conditioned, the ventilation seems to be weak inside; they come back for the consistently delicious food, at unbeatable rates. The decade-old Cantonese Restaurant has quite a variety of dishes to offer- from the classic Cantonese stir fry to local-Malaysian cuisine; whether you are in a celebratory mood or just drop by over a casual meal, it has something for you. Foong Yean has always been the de-facto Chinese restaurant to visit in Bayan Lepas, especially for the Chinese investors/ management working in the organizations nearby the industrial zone. One of its most glamorous dishes includes the Indonesian Prawns... a dish that many sang their praises on. The experienced and well-trained staff is incredibly friendly, making it one of the most hospitable restaurants to visit in Bayan Lepas.
This is not the first time i tried eating at Kim Gary, but it was 2 weeks ago when i revisit Kim Gary again, this time in Queensbay Mall.
Teng! Teng! our table are fill up with assorted of seafood and vegetable. Huge variety of ingredients up for selection, but we highly recommend seafood as their seafood are extremely fresh with reasonable price.
On the other hand, the Deep Fried Pork Belly (RM 15/small) is generous in serving size with a lot of pork slices. Marination was done on the point, though a tad more spices would have elevated this dish. If you are the type of person who enjoy fatty meat, then you will definitely enjoy the pork slices here.
We enjoyed the way how the Maggi was fried - slightly wet and fried with egg, nice seasoning and topped with a round egg, which egg yolks ooze upon probing it. To our surprise, the fried maggi noodle also served along with a few slices of fried fish fillets.
The Crispy Noodles with Dragon Tiger Grouper and Prawns was better as compared to the earlier dish, the gravy was beautifully cooked; when eaten with their Sambal, the combo was amazing
food here is good, service is excellent
