What to eat? Seafood feast is a good idea anytime, don't you think so too? :D The other day, thanks to my friend's recommendation, I was at the newly refurbished Wellcome Seafood Restaurant, Bandar Sunway Mentari. The restaurant kitchen is now helmed by the talented Chef Alvin Chin and he has prepared a tempting menu for us.
Verdict: We’ve tried something different than our usual “dai chow” fare, taste and price wise, very affordable the ingredients was fresh. Don’t mind come back if I’m at the vicinity.
The highlight would be the free flow of sauces which I think a surprisingly good dipping sauce for the Fish & Crisps meal and are quite addictive.

Flamming Platter for Quarter (One large grilled catch of the day with their award winning flaming prawns.) Served with one big piece of dory fish, fries, squids, prawns and garlic rice. It was so delicious and the fish was so soft and smooth. I would be very happy to have this as my dinner every day.=D
My friend and I love to eat shrimps so we wanted to order "Shrimper's Heaven" at MYR65.90++ (10% service charge and 6% GST = MYR76.85 nett) which consists of Breaded Coconut Shrimp, Grilled Shrimp, Crisp Golden Shrimp and Tempura Shrimp with Fries served with dips such as Tangy Asian, Cajun Marmalade, and Zesty Cocktail but we were told that the breaded coconut shrimp is not available so this item is off the menu for that day. We were disappointed but we decided to go for other shrimp dishes. They have shrimps so I guess they ran out of coconut flakes to coat the shrimps.
I haven't visited Bubba Gump in a very long time, and it kind of proven that I should just forget about it. I don't even know why we went there, but really, no more next time. Skinny chicken, tiny prawns, hefty price.
So it’s no wonder the restaurant offers eat-all-you-can steamboat buffet @ RM79 nett (RM69 nett for supper session) and a couple of dishes inspired seen in the movies.
