Sushi Mew has truly woven a medley of flavours into every dish, making each piece of sushi into edible art.
The price is RM38 per person for the Original option and RM28 per person for the Vegetarian option. Rice and seaweed can be refilled at RM8 per serving whilst the 14 additional toppings range between RM5 to RM30 per serving.
The ‘Make Your Own Sushi’ platter can be ordered based on a single portion. However, the portion may be added up to as many as ten in a big platter for sharing. The price for each person is RM38.00 for the Original option while it is RM28.00 per person for the Vegetarian option.
The Mixed Nigiri Set came with 8 pieces of sushi, with toppings such as salmon, tuna, yellowtail, tamago, tobiko and scallop. Everything was fresh and delicious, and I especially enjoyed the salmon and yellowtail. A very nice change from my regular bara chirashi.
Baby D's salmon zanmai set came with 3 pieces of salmon sushi, 2 pieces of seared salmon sushi, 6 salmon mini rolls and 1 with salmon roe. I had a piece of the seared salmon sushi and it was pretty good (had that melt-in-the-mouth, fatty texture). Both Baby D and Baby C managed to finish all the mini rolls as well as the salmon roe one and Hubby helped them out with the rest. All sets come with a miso soup. Overall, a great, enjoyable lunch!
My Personal Opinion Another sushi place you can consider when you're in Pavilion...even if it's just for this unique sushi with loads of deliciously crispy carrot shreds. A simple light lunch of garlic fried rice should sufficiently please too.
