Verdict: This was my first visit to Upperhouse Kitchen and Dessert Bar hence no comparison how’s the food before this 50% off promotion. Food we sampled that day was just average, I can’t find a good reason for me to come back.
Kimchi Cheese Croissant @ RM 26 Taste is pretty spot on, yet unique that have its own taste feature. Freshness of parsley do give it a slight much crips yet sour bitter after taste as you bite on the buttery bread. Very interesting. It is a dish that worth to order to check it out. Remember to squeeze on the lime.
Verdict: Upperhouse is a perfect spot for creative desserts and Western-style comfort food. Ideal for small gatherings and parties too.

Pattisez Malaysia at Bangsar had been one of the highlight by many others as it is the Australian bakery-cafe’s first franchise branch outside Canberra, Australia. The cafe was previously known for their epic Freakshakes monster-sized milkshakes heaped high with out-of-control toppings. In Malaysia, they were one of the early adopters to drive the trend previously along with few other inspired cafes.
It was a random weekend night that me and some others decided to head to Bangsar, not for beer, but for coffee. As we drove by Jalan Telawi, we saw Pattisez there, and it just became our spot.
Overall, love the ambience and love the food, and of course… who can resist those mouth watering desserts… will definitely be back for more
I came to The Daily Grind two years back for their classic waffle and to date, I still think The Daily Grind serves one of the best classic waffle! Not only they serve delicious food at a reasonable price point, they have some of the cutest retro decor too!
If I have to pick a favorite on the brunch menu, it would have to be the Smokin’ Seaside Scones (RM28). The dish takes the much beloved eggs benedict version and jazzed it up to such a scrumptious and creative dish. Featuring two house made crumbly and moist onion scones served with perfectly two poached eggs, smoked tuna, smoked snowfish, rocket leaves and finished with a generous lashing of hollandaise sauce.
So we ordered the set. There are two drinks and two plates of rice. The photo above shows the size difference between the various plates. The 3 tapas we selected are: Beef Meatballs, Spicy Calamari and Lamb Masala. Without this promotion, each tapas costs MYR15.90 nett and a bowl of rice costs MYR 3 nett.
Last month, The Wifey and I visited Wonderma …
Hello worldddd! It's time for another food review again! This time it is a review about Wondermama. Went on a mini food adventure with my high school mates ...
Baked Salmon is my all-time favourite in Delicious. Perfectly baked salmon with damn good citrus dressing, they just nailed it. Baked Salmon @ RM 35
Makanan so so. Yang penting lepak dan borak borak sampai dah nak tutup. Nasib tak kena halau jer. Kos makanan RM 100++ Kira Okey lah !
My Personal Opinion What I've had so far, I've enjoyed....some more than others. But if I had to pick one, the spice-marinated whole spring chicken was the standout for me with its superbly fragrant and beautifully executed crisp skin. You're in capable hands when it comes to Asian-inspired flavours and the place certainly warrants return visits. I'd like to give the western fusion dishes more attention when I do revisit.
