This is our own Malaysian Chinese style 糖水店, selling old-style chinese fried pastries which is Char Koay and its "related siblings".
Tau fu fa RM 1.80, soy bean milk RM 1.80, yau char kwai RM 1.30, ma geok RM 1.30 While it's not exactly cheap, you are paying for the convenience of eating oil fried ghost at any hour of the day. Unfortunately, since these were ready made, they weren't crunchy enough. The sweet desserts were pretty good, a bit sweet but that's why they are called dessert.
Overall, I’d not hesitant to return for a good & comfortable afternoon snack. While there’s no air conditioning, fancy decoration, or even IKEA sofa, this place hold its own among the newer establishments in PJ, and it is one that I believe will stand up to the test of time better than others.
