especially liked the Asam Laksa. The broth was thick and flavorful. It tasted as it should. I would have liked it if there were chunks of tuna in it. Here, it was in a minced form? Basically small pieces scattered all over. The good thing about this was that every mouth you take is guaranteed to have some tuna in it. So, all good I guess despite the lack of chunks.

So is their Hokkien Char any good? The answer is a resounding yes! To be perfectly honest, if you didn’t grow up having Hokkien Char, it may not be a dish that speaks to you, but if you love spicy sambal and a dish of fried noodle that’s not overly strong or starchy, you may want to give this a try.

Well, that was a very romantic nice Valentine's Day dinner with some hits and misses. We might come back and as my partner said (while eating the asam laksa), it was worth the traffic jam.
