Can't recall the name of this dish, but it's shakshuka. I would recommend this dish to anyone who loves a hearty breakfast. With the warm and toasty eggs and savoury tomato sauce and other ingredients cooked into what seemed like a thick broth, this dish is sure to fill your tummy despite its deceivingly small portion. Use the bread to soak up the awesome eggs and tomato concoction so you don't leave any behind.

Briyani itself was sufficiently moist and the mutton came with some really delicious and thick gravy that I very much enjoyed. The amount of meat in the Briyani was quite a lot as well. The flavours were well balanced and neither one overpowered the other. Loved it for sure and my rating for this Lotus Leaf Mutton Briyani shall be 8/10

Sitka Restaurant Restaurant

8-5 Jalan Batai Bukit Damansara 50490 Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Sitka Restaurant in Damansara Heights, is situated in the west of Kuala Lumpur and set in the 30- year-old shop lots of Jalan Batai. This intimate, 40-seat neighbourhood eatery is our interpretation of a modern restaurant. The team looks to Southeast Asia’s natural larder for inspiration, combining traditional ingredients with modern techniques. We work with hand-picked local producers, fishermen and small farms to encourage and support sustainable food practices. Although some ingredients are imported we believe fresh is best and are constantly working towards providing our own food source within Malaysia. The kitchen’s constantly changing innovative menu of modern cuisine consists of a focused all day menu. Honest food made with local and seasonal produce. Sitka Restaurant offers casual all-day dining in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere.

Sitka Studio Restaurant

8-5A Jalan Batai Damansara Heights 50490 Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Sitka Studio is a contemporary restaurant serving an ambitious tasting menu. Our food is provenance driven with virtually all of our ingredients caught, picked, foraged or grown within a few miles of Kuala Lumpur with only some interesting products brought in to compliment, not dominate, what we already have. Our approach to food allows us to innovate and focus on traditional techniques like fermentation, brining, pickling, smoking, salting and marinating to showcase the best of Malaysia’s produce. We are the bridge between local producers and you, our discerning diners. We have built relationships with farmers, fishermen and even milk producers to ensure that the ingredients we use are fresh, chemical free and the best Malaysia has to offer. The menu is complemented by a list of natural and organic wines, champagnes and some favourites from our sister restaurant in the UK. We also have a small selection of cocktails, craft beers aperitifs and a concise juice pairing menu highlighting our amazing fruits.
