KYUU by Shunshui – Japanese Omakase by Keong Saik Chinatown
I really like the doneness of the Tuna Belly with Truffle Ponzu Sauce; slightly raw with a bit of bite, soaking up the delicious savory sauce, although the taste of truffle was indiscernible.
The overall experience of sitting through the courses is also worthwhile, so I recommend for omakase fans to check this out!
The restaurants offers a tantalising ten-course Omakase menu priced at $129. A la carte menu is also available.
For the location and ambience, the Omakase set is really good value for money given the portion and quality ingredients served. The restaurant competition along Keong Saik is stiff, but Kyuu by Shunsui is one we would consider returning soon again.
Highly recommend Kyuu by Shunsui for an affordable omakase with great quality!
The whole dining experience was pleasant and the service staffs are always on smile.
I was not entirely persuaded by Five Nines, but Kyuu by Shunsui left me suitably enticed.
