Other five-star hotels will charge arrogant prices close to RM300 for their high tea. The afternoon tea at the Sofitel KL Damansara was surprisingly tasty for its low price and very aesthetically pleasing. Some things, like the tea, scones and ambience, are not at a five-star standard, but I’ve seen a lot worse at this price point. Comparatively, afternoon tea at Sofitel’s Le Bar is decent and above average for what you pay.
So if you are looking for a great staycation right here in Kuala Lumpur, do give Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara a consideration
Prestige Suite Spacious, 60sqm one-bedroom suite. Plenty of room for both work and rest. Very comfy king-size Sofitel MyBed™. Separate living room with sleeper-sofa.
这家店是很多人喜欢来喝咖啡,吃个西式早餐
Can't recall the name of this dish, but it's shakshuka. I would recommend this dish to anyone who loves a hearty breakfast. With the warm and toasty eggs and savoury tomato sauce and other ingredients cooked into what seemed like a thick broth, this dish is sure to fill your tummy despite its deceivingly small portion. Use the bread to soak up the awesome eggs and tomato concoction so you don't leave any behind.
Overall, i find the food and drinks and yummy, kind of wish the portion is tad bigger though
French Toast is kinda like must have for me. Love the brioche toast as it is done to perfection. sauce is not too sweet yet just nice.
Cappuccino was rich & have bold coffee taste that it goes perfectly well with the Burnt Cheesecake. Cappuccino @ RM 11
BIRCH BENEDICT RM26 The eggs were poached to perfection, where the egg white was firm and bouncy while the yolk was runny. The pull pork was another surprise. It was incredibly flavourful, with a hint of spiciness that tantalizes your taste bud. The fresh and crunchy greens were a great contrast to the soft and chewy texture of the pulled chicken.
Jeff Ramsey’s new modern izakaya gratifies the senses with Japanese-Spanish flair, liberally spinning classics from both cuisines to delicious results.
Reasons to visit Japas by Jeff Ramsey: That steak!! Spectacular views across the city; eclectic fusion dishes; reasonable and varied wine and sake offerings.
Reasons to visit Babe Restaurant’s Bubbly Brunch: fun, friendly dining; creative cooking; gorgeous presentation; a chance to try many dishes from their menu for a single price.
[Halal] We finally checked out this establishment for their famous dish – Dancing Fish. The presentation is very cool – the fish really looks like it is dancing/jumping.
DF Appetizer Platter (RM 49.80) comes to our favorite where the platter is packed with their signature items which includes their charcoal – grilled Chicken Satay, Cumi Cumi Tahu Bakar with the Spicy Peanut Rujak Sauce, Seafood Sate Lilit and Spicy Green Apple Salad with Salted Fish. The platter is just awesome where they are packed with flavors as well.
Boston Lobster and abalones make the best pairing, especially when they are braised in a thick umami sauce. It’s a great dish to make good impressions and we love the impression it made on our happy tummies!

Tiki Taka, located in the housing neighborhood of Medan Damansara, has been serving lots of scrumptious East meets West inspired tapas bites. Coupled with their full bar service, it is one of the better place to hang out in that area for good food and drinks. This round, the new menu is bolder and definitely better. Filled with lots of porky fare, there’s plenty of small bites as well as mains and a sweet ending. We visited once evening for a sneak peek and was pretty stoke about the luscious menu coupled with a few giggle juices.
Used to be new kid on the block and since then have gains many of regular over months and with some recommendations and request from their customer, Tiki Taka had just launch their New Menu and along with some of their Old signature menu is still on the menu.
The favourites are still there, Nutella Bacon, Pork Satay, Singapore Chilli Prawns, and yes of course Salted Egg Crab Bun, you’ll never be at risk of the new Pintxos, Tapas & Mains that has become their signature dish and now you will have a whole new selection of sublime taste sensations vying for your attention! Papa C said they have the best Connor’s as Tiki Taka has one of the best pour. It pours black with a thick, creamy beige head. Love the smoothness.
This is what I'd refer to as the absolute "sea"riously delicious sushi roll. The breakdown of the ingredients practically sound like it's what you would get regardless of which Japanese restaurants you visit, but putting them together it's absolutely unexpectedly delicious. The crispy shrimp gave a contrasting texture to the soft and mushy grilled unagi, which Avocado added as an additional emollient to mush all of the ingredients into one, with a little help from the shiitake mushrooms to boost an incredible umami / aroma. Just one bite left us wanting more, we wanted to savour once more the unique burst of flavours on our taste buds.
I wanted to spread the joy of all the awesome discounts and offers from The Entertainer that I took advantage of this year, so i had another night out with my foodie friends at Ploy in Work@Clearwater to savour the taste of Japa-Thai (Japanese and Thai), they are included in the list of merchants on The Entertainer app with Buy 1 Free 1 Mains offer.
PLOY is a Modern Asian dining restaurant. It also means ‘gem’ in Thai. Inspired by the true gems of Japanese and Thai cuisine. This is a great dining place where we can choose the food from variety cuisine instead the particular western restaurant.
Was invited to try the new dim sum menu by @orientalgroup and it was nice to see the Ming Room in its new digs after being refurbished. Was particularly impressed by the bamboo feature wall and the fancy washroom, akin to a swanky posh hotel!
Serving authentic Cantonese cuisine that blends history and elegance with comfort. The dim sum menu is fairly extensive with consistent standards which may be considered good locally. It's always packed at weekends so be sure to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
It was worth the wait as some of their dishes are superb. Char siew pork is irresistible because the meat is mostly lean with just a bit of fat and lightly charred with an even coating of sticky sweet soy sauce.

Next, Wok Fried Raddish Cake with Shrimp Paste RM18. Probably one of the best Stir-Fried Loh Bak Gou we have tried thus far. Wok-hei loaded aside, what makes this stir-fried loh bak gou stands out is the burnt bits that coated to the cubes of moist raddish cake – something that we always look for in this dum sum to get that extra smoky flavours.
We had the Sliced abalone with bean curd and garden greens (RM78) which come with a whole baby abalone, braised to perfection.
Reasons to visit Coca Restaurant BSC: a relaxed yet smart setting – lovely during the day with its large windows; tasty Thai dishes and, of course, scrumptious hot pot!
This Khao Klook Kapi (RM26), with a spectacular array of flavours and textures on one plate. Originating from Central Thailand, this is typically eaten during lunch and features fried rice with shrimp paste, omelette, young mango, shallots, cucumber, long beans, chillies, dried shrimp and sweet, sticky chicken pieces. A vibrant, delicious plate of goodness!
Do not leave COCA Steamboat without trying their COCA Fish Glue RM23! It is actually fish paste spread out in thin and flat instead of sphere shape. Enjoy the texture, so bouncy after cooked, despite the thinness.
Avocado De La Mer Pipping hot cheesy baked seafood with lots of mushrooms and piquant miso. Beware as it will be burning hot. Highly recommended for a cheesy baked lover!
Torii is a Japanese pub alike restaurant with yakitori a.k.a meat skewers as their signature. They have a range of sake, red wines, champagnes and any other exotic type of alcohol beverages which you may never heard of. The most bizarre wine which cost RM15,000++ is also available here. I wonder how long does it takes for them to sell one bottle of that.
Matsusaka and Kobe beef are often regarded as the best beef in Japan. Steak lovers in KL can rejoice, as Torii is bringing premium Japanaese steaks to you at their Batai outlet. Diners can indulge in several different breeds and cuts, including Matsusaka, Kobe Zabuton, and Kobe Sirloin of differing meat grades (ranging from A5 to F1), along with a variety of delicious sides specially crafted by Executive Chef Nizam and his kitchen team.
Reasons to visit Grandmother’s Table, Sunday Brunch Nero Nero: A full array of food surprises inspired by the grandmothers of southern Italy rendered by the capable hands of Head Chef Giuseppe Lioce.
Reasons to try the Nero Nero Menu: authentic Italian cuisine; seriously one of the best Italian restaurants in Kuala Lumpur; not one, but TWO Italian chefs; fresh pasta made daily; just try everything and make sure to leave room for dessert, or don’t leave room but order dessert anyway!
Reason to visit: home-crafted Italian dishes from the heart, superb service, great atmosphere.
Being one of the legendary Japanese ramen establishments well-known worldwide, Ippudo certainly doesn’t go famous for no reason. Thick, cloudy white, flavourful signature tonkotsu broth immersed with thin, springy ramen, topped with beautifully done egg with runny egg yolk and delicious meat slices – a gracious bowl of Ippudo ramen always brings satisfaction in every slurp.
Reasons to visit: superb Japanese cuisine with a twist and a quality drink menu to back it up; the premium IPPUDO outlet in Malaysia has dishes only found in this location; don’t miss the Kogashi Miso Ramen, Gindara Saikyo Miso Yaki and the Yokubari Maki.
Shortly after the introduction of new menu; Karaka-men the night before at The Gardens Mall, our taste buds was again amusingly tickled at its BSC’s outlet with another new kid of the block- Mazesoba!
Duck Leg Confit RM55 Seasoned and cured the duck legs then slow-cooked it in its own fat until it's meltingly tender, accompanied by smoked spicy chicken sausage & cannellini cassoulet with spicy beetroot chutney. That fork-tender, moist-as-all-get-out duck with the crispiest, crunchiest skin really brightened up my day!
Roast Pork Loin, 200g RM46.00 Roast Pork Loin, 200g was our random order, ended up becoming the best dish among the rest we had. Juicy, meaty pork tenderloin with extra crunchy, roasted to golden brown skin, dressed in brown pork jus with a side of Yorkshire pudding, duck fat potatoes, roasted vegetables and homemade apple sauce. So good you gotta try this out!
And if soft and moist tickles your fancy, the French BKT (RM 88++) puts up an entire pork knuckle stew. It is infused with honey and sage and lovingly simmered in beef stock with granny Smith apples. There is nothing BKT here except the resemblance at one glance. But served with sides of deep fried flower roll buns (4 pcs per serving), this dish earned applause with the soft knuckle meat that’ll beautifully tear up with very little effort to reveal that fresh pink on the inside. If you are ready for the porky lunar this year, this menu is exclusively available for a limited time starting from 10th Jan 2017 to 11 Feb 2017. Take note that these are available for special lunar take away orders with a minimum of 48 hours notice.
♥Verdict: Our dining at Nizza was truly a luxuriant and pampered experience. It was everything from food to ambience that made this unforgettable. Definitely a perfect option when one feels like splurging on some fine dining experience.

The highlight of the buffet spread is Chef Dato' Ismail's most famous creation, the Ayam Golek Istana, a royal dish traditionally served in the palace. The chicken was beautifully tender, and is complemented by the well-spiced sauce.
