Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, salah satu mercu tanda beli belah di negara Malaysia ini dan antara mall yang aku paling jarang pegi.
Very nice lunch.
Immerse yourself in a series of weekend focused activities and experiences offering endless youth exuberance, creativity and fun. Fans of independent artisans can make their way to the inaugural Pasar Sari, an all-Malaysian homegrown artisan market that showcases a selection of locally-sourced and produced goods perfect for local visitors and tourists. You could get your hands on creations from The Apothecary Malaysia, Kapten Batik, Buih & Co, ZaHuoHang and many more. From fragrances and toiletries to pick up art, stationery and apparel, or perhaps take home some homeware and decorations, a variety of agricultural products from social enterprise Langit Collective. Also, don't miss the yummy local delights from Lot 10 Hutong and Rococo Cafe Restaurant too.
Providing excellent quality of set meals at an affordable price. Their specialty is in incorporating umami, the fifth taste in their culinary dishes.
Reasons to visit: Zen atmosphere, Japanese food, chicken hot pot, free flow of vegetables, no additives, in-house ponzu and Yuzu Kosyo, best Warabi-Mochi in town.
Branding themselves as “Japan’s Favourite Shopping Mall,” LaLaport Mall will be the place to get all of the Japanese essentials.
Even though only half the stores were open, we were able to spend an afternoon wandering around at LaLaport Mall. If they can attract more tenants and fill up all the empty space, this could be one of our favourite malls. Gourmet Street is an enjoyable place for a drink with lots of people-watching opportunities. However, the average person doesn’t need to come to LaLaport at this stage unless you’re curious or want to shop at Nojima or Nitori. There are just not enough shops, and the ones that exist are also at one of the other nearby malls in Bukit Bintang.

Moving forward to 2023, Imbi Kuih Bakul Fried Nian Gao is the place to visit if you are craving for kuih bakul (they called it golden cake) or also known as nian gao in Chinese, simply means new year cake.
There is so much to eat at ICC Pudu that it would take multiple trips to try everything – but that’s also one of its draws, as no two trips will be the same. Food is affordably priced for the area.
♥Verdict: Like what I said on the beginning of the post, my dining experience at ICC Pudu was torturing due the stuffy environment of the food court. I already told hubby that no matter how good the food is, I will never go back again and the fact is the food that I tried this time, nothing really wowed me too. ◔_◔

As the holiday season approaches, Pullman KLCC Hotel & Residences has unveiled its enchanting plans for Christmas 2023, promising a celebration like no other. This Christmas, the hotel is transforming into a magical wonderland of Snow White, where holiday spirit and joy come to life.
Overall, I do say this place does live up to the hype.
For example we really like this Unagi Bao RM28. Small in size, big in flavours. Spicy, succulent unagi contrasted by crunchiness of deep fried nori, flavours lifted up with salted egg crumble and julienne cucumber for a refreshing crisp that comes in just right. Served over a basket of sweet potato chips.
THE LINGUIST (MYR 30) Sautéed Prawns and Clams with Chili Linguine, Garlic and Rocket Huge and fresh prawns were spotted!
Service is slow, food is nice, price is above average. Value for money item would be Fried Chicken and Curry Rice. Cheese cake with cream is pretty good.
Overall, the high cost of the meal (RM268 for 2.5 diners) wasn’t matched by the quality of food, so I don’t think I am likely to return in the near future. On the other hand, if I could get away with just having three courses of dessert, I might change my mind.
YURI / Matcha 6th Avenue Cheesecake! Priced at RM21, this is exclusively made available at The Tokyo Restaurant, Isetan The Japan Store, Lot 10. We personally prefer this to the original now as it has the right balance of sweetness together with the matcha. So velvety smooth and tasty!
Thanks to the friendly staff for recommending this Sup Ekor. So good! A hearty portion of tummy-warming, flavourful oxtail broth, richly seasoned with a bouquet of house spices, topped with celery cress and crispy shallot.
Reasons to visit Shook! The Starhill Dining: stylish new digs; menu catering to a variety of tastes; Dancing Prawns; grill menu; cocktails from The Alchemy; although wine by the glass is not particularly impressive their vertical collection of Chateau Mouton Rothschild dating back to the 1940s is worth at least a little envy.
The comprehensive spread of authentic Malay dishes includes all-time favourites such as Rendang Daging ‘Tok’, Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, Nasi Briyani, Sup Ekor and Bubur Lambuk
This place offer decent walnut and black sesame paste, most places taste like some factory made powdery taste. They did put some effort to make some dessert art for you.
I have high hopes on this Steamed Egg Custard @ RM 3.50.. However it was quite a let down in both taste and texture.
♥Verdict: Although the choices are quite limited but Restoran Ruby still is a decent place for Tong Sui especially if you’re a fan of Tong Sui in paste form like these.
This year, Sungei Wang Plaza introduces its latest cultural and art installation ‘Mid-Autumn The Tales of the Moon’ running from 1st till the 25th of September 2022.
Reasons to visit the Five Sen5es “Eat All You Can” Dim Sum Brunch at The Westin Kuala Lumpur: unlimited orders of dim sum items made a la minute; stylish setting; must order the Siew Mai and Fried Mango Prawn Net Spring Rolls; if dining a la carte be sure to request Creamy Custard Buns and the Signature Chilly Creamy Mango Puree.
From 6 January until 16 February 2020, Five Sen5es will be presenting 3 exquisite set menus, a selection of fresh Yee Sang and festive a la carte items specially curated by Chinese Chef Ron Lean and his team. The menu will showcase authentic Chinese cuisine, engaging your five senses - sight, taste, scent, touch and sound. The set menus are priced at RM1,988 (Happiness), RM2,188 (Blessings) and RM2,388 (Abundance) per table of 10 persons respectively. Each set menu comes with a bottle of selected complimentary House red or white wine.
Flavours were sweet and clear in most of the dishes, as what Hongkong-style does: allowing the natural goodness of ingredients to shine. With wellness very much in mind, the dishes are well executed with minimal use of oil and hard flavouring
This and few other restaurants at Wisma Cosway only opens for lunch for 4-5 hours from 11am-3/4pm.
這裡絕對能滿足您對海鮮的食慾,肯定不讓你失望!
Inspired by the Chong Qing-Grilled Fish, Fatt Kee Roast Fish has recently gained a lot of attention from netizens due to its gigantic serving with loads of Seafood swimming in the huge pot. The concept is not new- Deep Fried Fish with Seafood (like Prawns, Squid, Flower Clams) and vegetables soaked in a spicy-savory Seafood broth; served in the way similar to Hot Pot/ Steamboat. The spiciness varies and can be tuned accordingly but the heat-intolerant should be extra careful on selecting the spiciness as it can be lip-burning hot. It can be then enjoyed just like an ordinary Hot Pot, with extra condiments like Udon, Vegetables and Seafood to be added. Do note that there are two branches and both locations are near to each other; one is air-conditioned while another one is al-fresco setting. The flavors were fun and the combination was exciting, a place worth visiting.
Overall, we enjoyed the food in Fatt Kee Roast Fish and will come back again for more. They don’t take reservation so be there early to get your table and the crowd starts coming in after 7pm. Fatt Kee Roast Fish Pudu 發記招牌特色烤鱼 opens from 5pm to midnight daily.
Healthier mooncake selections include Snow Skin Shiro Umeboshi With Green Tea Paste and Baked Bamboo Charcoal Paste With Salted Egg Yolk would go well with the health-conscious customers.
Durian lovers can indulge in the second offering which is the Snow Skin Durian Paste With Truffle
Steamed Cod with Chinese Ham Served with Honey and Supreme Stock Paste The generous portion of the cod comes perfectly good to our tastebuds. The cod is perfectly steamed together with the Chinese Ham bringing you the aromatic flavours . The dish is just awesomely good where the fish remains its flaky texture but the flavours are enhanced by the Chinese Ham as well as Supreme Stock Paste.
