Shima restaurant at Goodwood Park Hotel was the first teppanyaki restaurant in Singapore, set up in 1980. It is also said to be the oldest Japanese restaurant in Singapore.
Freshly grilled food (yaki) on an iron plate (teppan), Shima offers teppanyaki courses in a slightly aristocratic yet traditional setting. In short, you can expect nothing short of the finest quality and dedicated service.
Shima’s Maguro Festival Ala Carte Menu is available for both lunch and dinner till 16 April 2018.
餐馆在3月份推出Maguro Festival鲔鱼季,选用新鲜入口的鲔鱼制成多道菜式,精致呈献。
This was a media tasting. That means that the food was provided free of obligation and no fee as paid for the review.
Shima at Goodwood Park Hotel Singapore is known as one of the oldest Japanese restaurant in Singapore.
Considering the premium ingredients used and the intricacy that went into each dish, I would say that the price-point of $88 for a 8-course dinner is justifiable.
It won’t be the bestest Japanese food you’ve eaten in your life, but it is still delicious.
On the overall, the food at Shima kept our bellies full, warm and happy!
