But in the evening, although the shop is closed, the shop rent its outdoor spaces to a Bak Kut Teh stall as well as the famous PJ Seapark "Bumbung Nasi Lemak"! The stall offers only one recipe, Nasi Lemak with fried chicken plus drinks such as teh tarik.
Despite the slightly uncomfortable ambiance, we found this a valuable find. One of our favourite spots, for authentic Penang style prawn mee
This food truck is known locally to serve one of the most authentic Penang Prawn Mee and Assam Laksa for the past 40 years. They're iconically located right at the corner of the Sea Park Market and people are just coming non stop to order their food. We've even added some extra pork ribs and an egg to go with our prawn mee!
Verdict On a positive note we enjoyed the Prawn Mee here. It’s certainly one of the most authentic Penang-style Prawn Mee you can find in the Klang Valley. While the topping isn’t sufficient, you may opt to add extra prawns for an extra RM2. It is worth mentioning that Aik Prawn Mee also sells Assam Laksa which is highly raved among customers.

especially liked the Asam Laksa. The broth was thick and flavorful. It tasted as it should. I would have liked it if there were chunks of tuna in it. Here, it was in a minced form? Basically small pieces scattered all over. The good thing about this was that every mouth you take is guaranteed to have some tuna in it. So, all good I guess despite the lack of chunks.
So is their Hokkien Char any good? The answer is a resounding yes! To be perfectly honest, if you didn’t grow up having Hokkien Char, it may not be a dish that speaks to you, but if you love spicy sambal and a dish of fried noodle that’s not overly strong or starchy, you may want to give this a try.
Up next, the meal set Curry Chicken with rice. The meal, comes with Curry Chicken, Sambal sotong and Acar vegetable, serves with white rice, a bowl of soup and end with dessert of your choice. Curry chicken is flavourful coupled with their sambal sotong and acar, you may end up nasi tambah 🙂
Overall, the food was good. There are plentiful of dishes in their menu to try from ikan gulai tumis, sayur paku, sambal udang petai (ooops, i’m repeating myself, means its tempting haha) to kerabu sotong, kerabu ladyfingers (looking forward for this in our next visit).
I love this 1978 cucur udang and that is the reason why I went to Sea Park to try it. This reminds me of my dad’s cucur udang that comes with generous amount of prawns with flavourful taste. I will come back again for more.
Overall, we recommend these as a great snack for breakfast, lunch, or tear as they are open daily from 7am until 7pm. They serve their fritters with chilli sauce, but we always prefer to eat the fritters on their own. RECOMMENDED!
Internet speed is excellent throughout the day for today experience, and you will get the Wifi password once your ordered something.
In summary, definitely worth visiting when you crave for nasi lemak for lunch / dinner. SeaPark, is their 2nd Branch in PJ after SS3/37 PJ.
