The cabinet food is still there if you just want a really quick and light bight, but what you really ought to do is to order from the menu.
Almost every element of the dishes is made from scratch and using wild fermentation techniques that span from days to months.
Another dessert that you should really try was their Tiramisu ($9). The alcohol taste in this tiramisu wasn't strong and they added those little chocolate crunch balls for extra texture.
love the all new al fresco area towards the back of the restaurant, so cosy and away from the hustle and bustle of the café.
By the way, that matcha almond croissant doesn't seem to have any green tea taste at all.
Personally I am not a big fan of savory pancakes (I prefer dessert pancakes) so I am not too impressed with the pancake offerings by Tiong Bahru Bakery this time. If you are a fan of savory pancakes though, it may be worth giving the unique pancakes at Tiong Bahru Bakery a try.
Overall, I enjoyed the tender and flavorful five spiced pork belly, the crispy bacon and caramelized bananas with salted caramel sauce on their own.
Tiong Bahru Bakery is known with its freshly made pastries and a local brand of Singapore.
Dining here frequently might not be the most practical, but I will definitely suggest Tiong Bahru Bakery during special family occasions, or dine here with my gal pals once in a while.
The drinks menu didn’t changed much. You can still get a good coffee fix, including the addition of fresh healthy juices.
