Look no further than Kazutake Ramen, a hidden gem nestled in Ang Mo Kio. With its cozy ambiance, ample indoor, and al fresco seating options, this ramen haven is a must-visit.
Overall, Plum Village is the place to go if you want to experience Hakka food in Singapore. The food is tasty, pocket friendly but cooked with heart. We enjoy all the dishes here and we hope to dine here again before they close. Cheers!!

Anticipating my enjoyment, especially since I prefer my Hokkien mee to be moist, akin to this one which, though slightly more lubricated, maintains a non-clumpy texture with a visible oil coating.
Fish and chips with salted egg York and chili crab sauce! The fish was super soft and tender inside too! Felt that the sauce was pretty redundant. XD anyways this comes with 1 side dish and I chose cheese pasta which is not very tasty.
Its quite nice to see places like this with an uncommon theme incorporating some old-school elements to create a truly exclusive dining experience. Though the desserts may be on the steeper side and the location is quite out of place, the charm of such an eccentric environment will still draw people like me who love such traditional Chinese charm.
Bing Tang Tang Shui is a hidden gem in the idyllic Thomson Hill Estate. It's a lone dessert restaurant set alongside a row of shops in the middle of a landed enclave.
Nice, fresh and firm fish, coming in a generous number of thick slices. The soup was lightly savoury and fresh tasting too, as with the thick tomato.
The you tiao was smoky and crispy, peanut bits generous, and sauce nicely pungent, sticky and tangy-sweet. Everything else was crunchy-crisp and fresh. Really a very good rojak.
The char siew was fatty, tender, caramelised and covered in a nice sticky sweet sauce. The sio bak was equally tender and came with a nice, thin and really crispy crackling. The flavour if the sio bak was nicely balanced and not overly salty. Nice.
