Finally, it was our long awaited dinner time! We had dinner at Secret of Louisiana! This was my second visit. We were also celebrating my birthday when we were here 2 years ago. But, we didn't make a reservation at that time, so we didn't get a nice table. This time, hubby made a reservation through Offpeak. Therefore, we not only got a nice table just right beside the lake, we also got a 10% discount! :P

With a nice view by the lake, it is not a surprise that this restaurant for office workers to take a break from their confined cubicles to have their lunches. The limitless pasta, salad, soup and drink for one adult costs only RM19.90 from Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, it costs RM22.00 per adult. Adults with kids will also enjoy this family friendly dining atmosphere as kids get to eat for RM13.90 per child any day of the week. The availability hours are from 11.30am to 3.00pm. This offer is also available during eve and public holidays. The price is 6% GST inclusive but exclude a 10% service charge.

I had an awesome Cajun style dishes that night and would love to bring my dining partner, pig here to try them soon. Secret of Louisiana serves tasty and healthy food with an awesome lakeside view. It is located by the lakeside inside Plaza Kelana Jaya and parking is not a problem here.

之前有幾次和一班朋友到那吃飯喝酒，他們家主要是賣著Cajun 料理，小龍蝦、烤羊架、漢堡、意大利麵全都很棒。除了那單點食物外，另一賣點莫過於那吃到飽的意大利麵午餐了。說起他們家的意大利麵午餐吃到飽其實從2008年就開始推出，我這一吃也吃了好幾年的說。Lunch Spaghetti Buffet 價格週六與假日只需RM22.00

Guff Shrimps & Crawfish Bisque RM23.90 Homemade tomato concasses with sweet corn, bell pepper & celery with fresh crawfish & shrimp. Please don't get a heart attack while browsing through the price list of their soup. It's there for a reason. Look at the amount of FRESH seafood in our soup! Two small crawfish & three fresh shrimps! The tomato broth has a natural sweetness from the seafood which delivers a mouth-watering effect to my taste buds, leaving me craving for more. Definitely recommended!

Overall , it was a very wonderful place to dine in. Good and affordable food with a picturesque scenery =) It wasn't hot at all dining outdoor, as the wind there is strong and there were shades and umbrella protecting us from the blazing sun. However, please be vary as the wind might..blow things away (I wouldn't want to elaborate what happened in this blog).

Treasure of The Sea RM38.90 This is a red snapper fish fillet marinated with a Cajun spice mix and then seared on a hot cask iron with butter. It's served with Cajun vegetables. I like the sauce wjere you can taste the butter and the fish was fresh and seared until crispy on the outside. I can still remember Shah's reaction when he saw this. He went like, "whoah..." Hahahah
