I might come back from time to time because the coffee here is amazing.
Starting our meal with one of the dish in All Day Breakfast : Pulled Duck Benedict @ RM 29. Slow – cooked Braised Duck Toasted Broiche Organic Poached Egg, Chipotle Hollandaise, Crispy Duck Bits.
Up next was the winner out of all the dishes we had. The Mexican Grilled Chicken (RM31) served with Chef Davis's Mexican Verde Sauce, Corn Mash, Grilled Capsicum and Tempura Cauliflower.
For main course, we had Salted Egg Soft Shell Crab Pasta RM37 – linguine tossed in cream sauce concocted from salted-egg crumble, fried curry leaves, chilli padi and spiced paprika. Topped with deep fried to golden brown soft shell crab. Not too creamy, flavours on the light side, just nice for one person.
The food is great. The price is high. The service is awful. I will probably go back again one day when I’m feeling rich and patient. OVERALL: 3.5/5
Reasons to visit: Vegetarian options galore, a glorious two-page All Day Breakfast menu, meal-in-a-glass Bloody Marys, and the ultimate Fish and Chips!
So I heard right. The Good Batch still continues to serve good food, good coffees and good times! ;)
Ambiance: 7/10 Price: 6/10 Food: 6/10 (pork free) Verdict: Love the ambiance here but brunch was just alright in my opinion.
Mediterranean (MYR26.90/USD9) – Yellow polenta cooked with fresh milk, cheddar and parmesan cheese, topped with grilled prawns, crispy calamari (more like soggy), grilled capsicum and lightly toasted bread However, the Mediterranean was the best dish that evening. Or maybe because it was what I had to myself.
