Overall, a good place to dine with good food and reasonably priced bottled wines.
All in all, I think the overall experience here was really good.
Overall, it was a pleasure dining at The Gong.
Food at The Gong draws on Western and Asian influences, including American, British, French, Italian, Chinese, Malay, Thai, Japanese, and Singaporean cuisines.
The Pan-Seared Foie Gras (SGD $25) features 2 thick, tender moist, succulent slices of foie gras, with deep fatty savoury salty flavour. Worth ordering!
Finally, we had to try a local favourite dish – fried rice. The crab meat with tobiko version ($14) at Gong by Drinks & Co is a more upmarket version of the humble fried rice. The taste of the seafood and aroma of wok hei made this the unanimous winner of the best dish of the day.
Thank you Kris for the invite and Amanda for introducing us to the delicious food of The Gong by Drinks & Co.
