The set meal was very filling and satisfying, the jumbo tonkatsu was just right for someone who loves deep fried pork chop.
11am. First customer of the day! The restaurant boasts a classy interior with cool grey walls, sleek wooden furniture and black and white photos/calligraphy. The aesthetics are standard across all of their branches.
The meat isn't dry though the sauce certainly brings the flavor out even more. Definitely well worth it as you can refill the rice, soup and cabbage. Oh you can opt for either normal or multi grain rice too at no extra charge. While I wouldn't recommend bringing your date here since you'll want to stuff yourself silly with the free refills, it's got a nice ambience for a nice date.
整体上我对这里的食物很满意,主打的炸猪排不油不腻,每张桌子上还有一份食用指南,推荐顾客吃什么时搭配什么酱料,非常贴心,下次再来!
VERDICT: I really loved the Pork Katsu. Right amount of fat that melts in your mouth also the crispy skin that is different and yummier than the other versions out there...make sure you are really hungry though as portion is pretty big :-)
Every set comes with pretty good quality miso soup, pickle, and refillable cabbage that goes very well with their version of peanut sauce. As for the pork, they are glorious. It is lightly salted with very crispy yet light breading and always piping hot when served. Dipping the meat in either the sweet sweet, spicy sauce, or mustard and any pork lover will be in ecstasy. The experience is like the first time you have KFC as a kid.
It looks pretty decent when it was serve and Anna end up cannot finish her jumbo Rosu which is about 300g of pork. Tonkatsu is not bad but certainly one of the best I have come across so far. Price I think its slighlty expensive compare to the normal ones. Worth to give it a try.
Since I love porkie so much, I ordered their Jumbo Rosu Katsu Set which consists of deep fried jumbo pork loin (250g). The set comes with shredded cabbage, a choice between plain steamed rice or multi grain rice, Tsukemono (pickled white radish) and Tonjiru (miso soup with pork). Best of all, the rice, cabbage and tonjiru are refillable!
Verdict: I now have more reason to visit Eat Paradise. To try a bit of everything, order the Mameton Set.
I will certainly recommend this place for a good Tonkatsu meal. It may be slightly expensive, but for the portion, taste, & service that you get, it's WAY worth your every penny spent at Ma Maison! (I'm not paid to write good stuff for them...hahaha...but it's really good...)
