Miznon launched a new pita this week featuring a melted mozzarella-wrapped piece of eggplant inside. I inhaled this thing in seconds considering how savory, gooey, and refreshing it was.
The overall omakase dining experience was delightful. The dinner is characterized using fresh ingredients and a heartfelt approach to cooking and witnessing the chef in action complete the whole experience.

The dishes I had at Sake Labo are quite good, and I like that the design of the space deviates from the traditional izakaya vibes. Sake and tapas bites are a perfect wind down combination after work or on weekends and this is a restaurant worth returning.
It is nice to see a cafe which opens near Telok Ayer even on Sundays, and Carrotsticks & Cravings is a good option for a fuss-free brunch post workout, or the occasional weekday brunch treat.
