Salted & Hung closes and Chef Drew re-emerges with Cenzo: Savor Italian delights at the modern Italian eatery with a touch of Australian flair
I would say come for the beef at Wagyu X, which is unsurprisingly the best part of my meal here. The prices for the Wagyu beef are a tad high, which is probably by virtue of the rarity of this breed of Hokkaido beef the restaurant uses. Starters and desserts could be skipped.
Nestled in the vibrant Club Street, Singapore, Le Bon Funk Club Street has been opened since 2018 and I only managed to check it out recently for dinner. With one other outlet in Holland Village, the Club Street outlet is the OG and the space and interior exudes a chic and trendy ambience. This is one of the concepts under The Lo & Behold Group which is also behind Odette, Claudine and one of the trendiest concepts in 2023, casual Italian restaurant Fico.
These guys (81 Club Street, 9155-8374) bill themselves as Italian-Australian, and they've got some pretty good lunch sets that they encourage eating in a shared manner.
A relaxed dining space in the CBD for some hearty Italian dishes with an Australian take on it. It is best to come with a group of people to enjoy the sharing plates concept and take on a variety of dishes. I would say, a charming new addition to Club Street.
Overall, it was a pleasure dining at Picanhas’ and Panquecas’. The picanha steak and ribeye combo are a must-try, while their Apam Balik is just a flavour bomb. Will definitely return for these two great dishes. Cheers!!
If you’re looking for an alternative to the typical ice cream and waffles, Panquecas’ is definitely the place to be!

All in all, there are some hits and misses but I would return for their crab meat pasta.
