When the Bak Kut Teh arrived at the table, we can smell the herbal aroma from the steaming hot bubbling pot. The pork ribs were tender and slightly firm. The soup is thicker compared to other Bak Kut Teh shops. We also ordered a pot of tofu puffs served with the Bak Kut Teh soup. We all were satisfied with the meal as it is difficult to taste the soup with that has this consistency.
The pure herbals and the fresh "pig big bones" have been cooked for a long time, just in perfectly mix the taste together for making people drink refreshing and sweet. After a long time cook with in the herbals, the pork has been simmered with the essence of the soup, and when the "bone meat" is separated, which is very tender and fresh when eating.

Similar to most of the bak kut teh in Johor, Kiang Kee bak kut teh is also served piping hot in a claypot. We heard from others that the Kiang Kee bak kut teh has its distinguishing feature, which it goes well with rice wine too. To enhance the dining experience, we requested for the special bak kut teh with rice wine. The rice wine was just appropriate to complement, not overly cover up the goodness of the herbal broth.
We spent about RM130 (approx SGD44) for our BKT meal (6 person share). Reasonably priced and affordable.
