Overall, we would rate B & Best as “above average” in our books when it comes to fish noodles. However, the fried fish cake here is still exceptionally good – and warrants an order if you’re visiting!

If I come here again though, I need to remind myself not to get kway teow soup, as it made everything too flat; instead, I should try the rice soup or even dry noodle.

The first time I came to B & Best restaurant was about 6 years ago. Even though their Teochew seafood noodle and fish cakes were good, I didn’t really bothered to return. I think I was more interested in food that offers more exciting flavors back then. Now that I am not that young anymore, I am starting to develop appreciation for lighter and finer tasting food like seafood noodle. Besides, it would be interesting to see how B & Best fare against Pong Kee and Soon Kee.
