We enjoyed the Shoyu Soba with Char Siu ($16++) which had the same flavourful soy-based broth enriched with dashi.
I'll definitely be back to try more another time.
I personally prefer the Kamo Abura Soba over the Paitan version mostly because I was smitten by the duck broth.

The signature, the Shoyu Soba ($22.80) was scented with truffle paste, and loaded with 4 pieces of char siew, a soft-boiled egg, and one lone bamboo shoot. The best part about this bowl was the delicate soup base. Give a hard pass to the pork and alkaline bamboo shoot.
It certainly was an experience but I would not queue an hour nor return for this.
