Seetelah dah cuba beberapa menu hidangan di Hana Dining ni, ternyata rasa mcam nak 'repeat' lagi sekali sebab semua makanan sangat segar rasa enak dan sedap-sedap belaka ya. Rasa macam tak rugi nak spend sikit duit kat sini sekali sekala sebab memang puas hati lah.. No wonderlah ramai pelanggan sanggup makan kat sini walaupun dia macam terselit sikit dalam IPC Mall tu hee..
Verdict: For standard of a restaurant in shopping mall, the price range was reasonable. Portion and food wise, not entirely impressive but decent if you need your Japanese food fix.
For me, I am actually falling in love with the Tsuke Nagaimo (RM 10) where the Japanese Yam is being marinated with the ponzu citrus sauce. The dish is perfectly appetizing with the light sour taste in it.
Co-founder of Noodle Shack, Joseph Sun joins us for a session of Cerita Cita-Cita IPC to share how life has been for him and Noodle Shack in the midst of the...
Despite being a no-pork establishment serving Chinese noodles, Noodle Shack has managed to keep the flavors good without having the need for some porky goodness. My very first time was at their One Utama outlet which can see a full house during lunch and dinner as their noodles are rather reasonable and most importantly delicious.
was flavorsome and firm to the bite with an explosion of Asian flavours! Let the egg yolk flow into the noodle and mix the Sambal together with the noodles. Enjoy the noodles with the creamy texture of the flowing egg and a hint of spiciness of the Sambal! Definitely a MUST-TRY! Priced at RM 13.90 nett
Verdict: Comfortable dining environment, option wise, I would have hoped to see more variety of ingredients and soup bases. Service was attentive and prompt during our visit.
We ordered almost one of each option that is available on the menu. MYR 1.88++ per bowl (5% service charge 6% GST making it MYR 2.10 nett per bowl). Two other varieties. I like the small portion as it gives me the opportunity to try all options without being too full.
Come over to Boat Noodle which is now opened at LG3A, Lower Ground Floor for a must have noodles experience.Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/myboatnoodle/P...
Verdict: On the whole, the food not something that I’ll leave an impression.
This rojak is one of my favourite dish (MYR 5.95 nett). I like the crunchy coconut fritters the best when compared to the rest of the ingredients: the prawns fritters, hard boiled egg, julienned jicama and cucumber.
My favourite TeoChew Cendol at MYR 6.10+ so it will be MYR 6.50 nett rounding up if one bowl or MYR 6.45 nett each for two bowls due to rounding down.
Verdict: I have a lot more better Pho options at my disposal (eg: THIS) and this place certainly wouldn’t make it to my revisit list.
A single mushroom melt beef burger from Wendy's at MYR 10.50 nett.
The rib eye with truffled butter sauce in Ante is the star, tastes bit salty with the gravy and goes very well with the pork steak. Like it!
它家的『香烤豬扒』份量十足、魅力足以讓你神魂顛倒,烤香後的豬扒口感鮮嫩多汁,好吃到讓你吮手指,超讚得嘞~😍!
Ante, located beside Nandos, (2 shops beside Nandos to be exact) is a non-halal restaurant that serves premier pork steaks in One Utama. Although the meals displayed in the menu below is on the high end, we are here today to review on their set lunch which only available from 11AM to 3PM.
What do We Like about Mak's Chee Authentic Wanton? -Delicious springy wanton noodle and wanton -Soup base full of flavor and umami taste -Many possible combinations to choose from. From beef, pork, prawn, prawn roe, dried, soup, dumpling, wanton, thin to thick noodle
And madam got this order of rice with pork lard and luncheon meat. The rice was quite stodgy, taste was so so. I loved the runny eggs and the soy sauce that was served separately. The luncheon meat was good, not too salty at all.
This is something you would order if you want the best of both worlds, the wantan mee and the prawn wantans as well as prawn sui kow with black fungus. The noodles was totally dry, unlike the usual wantan mee which is served with dark sauce except this was dry so that we can feel the fragrance of the prawn roe. The prawn dumplings are to die for, absolutely heavenly. Quite worth the price since they gave about 6 dumplings instead of 4 pieces like in other fine dining wantan mee restaurants.
Overall, Dave’s has plenty to offer although the menu needs to be more streamlined and a refresh to keep up with current trends. In these increasingly tough times, it would make better sense to retain the crowd-pleasers and introduce newer items on a trial basis to attract new customers while seeking to inject fresh creativity into its current menu.
DH ordered the Crispy Pork Knuckle for RM 66. We didn't expect for it to be a big portion but boy, it was! And the name says it all - it's really crispy! It's served on a sizzling hot plate and comes with mixed vegetables and potato wedges.
Garlic Fried Rice was superb. Delicious combination of Garlic Fried Rice and Fried Chicken. The portion is more than enough for 2 people. Kimuchi G.RC @ RM 33
Chicken Katsu Curry Rice. I swear that the portion has gotten smaller. Not just the plate.
Next to come is the Sirloin Steak Set priced at RM30.00. The set is served with rice, miso soup and mashed potato & salad. The steak is cooked medium well and served with teriyaki sauce but to my disappointment, the steak is lack of taste. This is the common problem with most restaurant, but probably it's only me that expecting wagyu beef quality everywhere. It's overall good and I think it's a good bargain for this price range in this environment. No complain and I visited this place that many times means that it must be quite good to keep me going back.
Molokhia Minced Leaf Stew + one side dish - RM11.55 Actually, I was a bit skeptical initially. Well, surprisingly, this Molokhia Minced Leaf Stew at this Tut's Eatery tastes great, I do not smell or taste anything greenish like grass. Molokhia is made up of stewed Molokhia leaves spiced with butter, garlic, coriander, cumin and black pepper. In fact, my friend love it, especially when it is eaten with toasted crispy buttered bread. Another highly recommended dish.
Bamya Lamb Stew + 1 side dish (RM 38.50) Double thumbs up for this dish!. Enjoy this tiny lady finger from Egypt where they are beautifully cooked in a delicious stew with the tender premium lamb cubes. Enjoy them with the dish of your choice.
Biram bamya succulent beef stew with 1 side (RM23.90) Daging lembut bersama bendi kecil. Kuah pekat. Very recommended..
While the meat is good and all, my favourite is actually the scallops, which are served in small tin foil bowls swimming in a flavourful broth. The scallops are sweet and juicy with a buttery taste – extremely addictive – and the broth is delicious too
Our lunch for two came up to RM120, which was pretty reasonable for a barbecue buffet. If you come on weekday afternoons, it’s RM39.90++ per pax.
Craving Japanese bbq ? At Rocku Yakiniku @ 1 Utama Shopping Centre, take your pick from premium cuts of meat and seafood, from tempting slices of pork belly ...
Amongst the mains, Claypot Lou Shee Fun left us with the deepest impression. The texture was amazing... addictively bouncy and the dish was expertly cooked. There were not much ingredients and toppings inside though... except a handful of deep fried Pork Lards
Snack for lunch - Curry Chee Cheong Fun (flat rice noodles) with pork slices, potatoes and beancurd puffs (tofu pok) at MYR 10.90++ (10% service charge and 6% SST so total is MYR 12.64 nett) at Oriental Cravings, One Utama. The chee cheong fun was hidden under the potatoes and beancurd puffs. As this was a snack portion, I was able to finish it on my own but was quite full after that.
Pumpkin, prawn and siu yoke fried meehoon... SWOON FACTOR, 9/10. Plump fresh sea prawns from sekinchan, sweet pumpkin and the crispy bits of sesame seed. If this dish isn't on the menu soon, I will personally write and complain to the management. Whoever they may be.
I have had this dish before and I'm afraid I was very disappointed with this one. There was no wok hei fragrance and the whole thing was just salty and flat. The beef slices were very tender but bland.
Char Kway Teow was damn good. It was the highlight of the meal compare to their signature Nasi Lemak. It’s flavourful and has an excellent smoky flavour in it. YUM!!. Char Kway Teow @ RM 19.74
Chicken Satay (RM 11.90) We ordered the satay, choose within the beef or the chicken satay, and this is something not to be missed here too. The succulent chicken meat is well marinated with flavours. Dipped them in the peanut based gravy and you will be sure to falling in love with it.
Verdict: Overall, our Peking Duck course meal was rather satisfying but the portion of the food was a bit small and less compatible to the price. With total damage of RM500.00, (we also had white rice (RM3.00/pax), Oolong Tea (RM6.00/pax) and titbit (RM2.00×3), we certainly hoping a more satisfying meal.
Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot Feast (RM468 for 6-8 pax ; RM888 for 10 pax)
烤鴨色澤紅豔,皮薄香脆,肉質細嫩多汁,口感酥而不膩,還帶有煙燻木香呢!
The value meal set is too good to bypass so I ordered a bowl of wanton noodles soup with a glass of iced honey chrysanthemum drink from the set menu. This set included a char siew bao and the total price is MYR 15.90+ (10% service charge = MYR 17.50 nett). As usual I kept half portion of the noodles and the whole bao for dinner.
Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert Restaurant could be a place for a quick meal to refuel you during lunch time. Currently having four outlets in Kuala Lumpur.
Overall, the food we had was enjoyable and reasonably priced for the portion you get. Frankly speaking, I had my reservations before coming here due to the reviews I read on their FB page. But as it turned out, almost everything was more than satisfying and even exceeded my expectations for a chain restaurant. My dining partners, some of them who had eaten at Sheng Kee a couple of times before this, also agreed that the meal experience we had was better than what they had previously.
