All in all, we had a pretty good meal, and I can see myself returning — not sure when, because I'm not a fan of Chinese food, and I don't know when I'm going to splurge on a meal like this again.
The Hokkien Noodles ($28) wasn't as heart-stoppingly lard laden as the ones whipped up by the roadside stalls in Kuala Lumpur, but this was decent.
No doubt prices are expensive, and I believe is higher than some diners would expect for the quality provided.
All in all, Warm Up Cafe’s food is mostly on point, especially their boat noodles. There are still many more options to explore on the menu! I recommend grabbing a seat at their al fresco dining area to fully soak up those Thailand vibes!
A food blog from a Singapore-based traveler
The crab omelette was moist and juicy, tasty and garlicky, and thick and creamy with nice big fresh pieces of slightly sweet crab providing texture. The moo bing was smoky, sweet and tender – almost like Thai char siew. Very nice.
Trust me, one Selera's goreng pisang will never be enough. Do yourself a favor and get a few more to indulge in.
Chicken rice and duck rice are served in the morning which I heard is rather good. Tze char menu is also available from lunch onwards.
Meat was reasonably tender. The duck skin was a little tough at parts, but the fried taste made up for it.
It doesn't sound very appetizing, and if you don't like the taste of soybeans, then this won't appeal to you. But I like tofu, and the buttery crust on these things motivated me to reach for seconds and even one more after that.

If you are visiting Singapore, LE Cafe's signature beancurd tart is a top choice.
Stepping into the Old Chang Kee Coffee House @ Rex is a throwback to the good ol’ days, fitted with retro furniture and décor like enamelware, marble top tables, rattan chairs and plastic table covers sporting neon pink and green floral patterns.
If you’re a fan of anything spicy or simply love chewing on chilli padis for fun, then the boat noodles at The Thai Society are just the thing for you.
Chef Bjorn and the Artichoke Singapore crew are serving up incredible Middle-Eastern fusion food and stunning cocktails, moves to River Valley
We noticed some good looking hummus and eggplant sitting in the countertop's glass case at Artichoke, so we grabbed a plate of each, along with other tasty treats like their white beans and fennel as well as a smoked falafel salad.
Food at Five Guys is American cuisine, focused specifically on burgers, hotdogs, and milkshakes. The menu is small and focused, instead, the emphasis is on maintaining a consistently high quality.

The Dragon Chamber provides guerrilla-style Chinese cuisine. They want to stretch the diners comfort zone serving unconventional Chinese food
Overall, I find the food and dining experience at TDC memorable. I am unable to appreciate the Szechuan influence in some dishes, however, the rest of the dishes are great.

Spice Brasserie at PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road has reopened its doors and we are all ready for their Christmas buffet.
亚洲街头美食任点自助餐只在周末推出,星期六与星期日午餐,星期五至星期日晚餐,每人$58。
I always like the buffet offered by Spice Brasserie. Since now it is ala carte format, it is even better. Sit back, order and eat.
I love how every component in this bowl of porridge is coming together beautifully not just in terms of flavors but textures as well.
This was something I would eat very often if I stayed nearby, if not for the wait and the heat. My favourite porridge in Singapore, together with Soon Lee at Clementi.
Johore Road Boon Kee Pork Porridge is located along Veerasamy Road. They specialize in Hainanese porridge and their porridge is visibly grainier and thicker than Cantonese or Teochew porridge.

Overall, Nanjing Impressions deliver a traditional Nanjing dining experience.
I have enjoyed learning more about Nanjing cuisine.
No doubt that their dim sum was freshly made with traditional recipes, there are still many competitors out there for their dim sum which can be better and worth the money spent. The time we spent in the queue did not make justice to our meal here. Perhaps, it's best to make a reservation before heading down there.
This was a satisfying birthday lunch and no doubt I would be back again! Three items deserved a re-order and they shall be the Wolfberry with Mushroom Siew Mai, the Signature Hot & Spicy Dumplings and the Signature Pandan Crispy Pork Bun!
There seem to be more and more Dim Sum options around these days. Sum Dim Sum opened up at Jalan Besar and offers some creative items.
Right next door to 25 Degrees is a lively wine bar that looks rather encouraging from the outside (200 Middle Road, 6809-7989).
All in all, dining experience at Ginett Singapore was good enough - enjoyable, with rather quality food.
It was a rare chance to savour the creation of the French Master Chef Roland Durand in Singapore.
As for the prawn soup, I am relieved that there is no overwhelming saccharine levels of rock sugar because that is how the prawn soup from my neighborhood tastes like.

Although on the lighter side, it is still flavorful enough with crustacean essence and a underlying pork sweetness that does not make me feel guilty for finishing it to the last drop.
On the whole, the food is lighter than elsewhere, and are suitable for older folks. Parents and grandparents may appreciate it.
The dishes lean towards a mix of Sichuan and Cantonese fares at this branch, and it is one Chinese restaurant to check out in Farrer Park.
餐馆环境提升,菜单上也做出调整。
The Japanese dumpling, is a twist to the usual spicy wantons. Nice and of a good sized but I prefer the original sauce for that spicy kick.
Food at Dim Sum Haus is focused on casual Chinese Cantonese cuisine, such as noodles, congee, and dim sum.
Service at Dim Sum Haus is upbeat, happy, and friendly.
The overall ambience is pretty chic, but I’d wish for the temperatures to be lowered, so to beat the heat & humidity.
Overall, 25 Degrees is an exciting burger destination.
25 Degrees possesses an old Hollywood charm in a casual setting. High ceilings, dark interior and classy American decor.
Curious Palette cafe is kind of long so to maximize the usage of space, they have long tables in the middle. The best way to illuminate such space is to let in natural light from the ceiling.
One of the things we were curious about was their sugarloaf cabbage with seaweed butter. The flavour was outstanding.
Tomato, Tamarind Ponzu ($10.90) which is a refreshing palate-cleanser with its plump and juicy tomatoes, along with yuzu and pickled lemon to enliven the dish with a subtle citrusy, tangy flavour.
