Chicken Masala, 7.50 ringgit. I like the chicken masala – it had a good amount of spice and gravy to it.
A banana leaf rice meal is not complete without some side dishes. Mutton and chicken, will be prepared in different styles daily (either masala, peratal or varuval) to offer choices to diners. During our visit, it was mutton masala (RM9.90); the portion was generous with tender, chunks of meat in a delicious gravy. Highly recommended!
Apart from that, now you start your day at Bananabro, as they are serving Malaysian most favourite breakfast - NASI LEMAK. Don't miss out this amazing food cause it is only available for breakfast start from 8.30am to 11am. Deliciously side dishes, juicy tender fried chicken and fragrant sambal with rice. MUST TRY!!! Nasi Lemak Fried Chicken (RM 11.90)

Asides from their famous Boat Noodle, one can try their famous Kra Pow Chicken Rice (RM 14.15). The Kra Pow Chicken Rice is worth ordering where it comes with the deliciously stir fried diced chicken which is served with the mix Holy Thai Basil. Topped with the Sunshine Egg and the fragrant Jasmine Rice with it. They also have spicy beef kra pow for those who wants to have it in spicy version!
Selling a series of beverage with signature Hong Kong milk tea being the highlight, the brewing is precise when the finest ingredients are used to make sure of the silkiest taste in a cup that’s ready to go. Together with an entire series comprising of both tea and juices, as well as the dairy or non coffee selection, there should be something for everyone.
Dairy Tooth Ice House has set its first outlet in Malaysia. It is considered as a dessert house, bringing the popular brand over here for Malaysians to taste authentic Hong Kong delicacies. It offers symbolic elements representing the old Hong Kong. A resemblance of how old folks enjoyed their tea and snack In Hong Kong.
You will be intrigued with the signature NASI LEMAK IN A PARCEL in a Telur Bungkus, served with sambal petai prawn and brinjal, total enjoyment for me from the fragrant coconut rice to spicy savoury sambal.
Craving for some hand-made fresh fruit beverages? City Milk from Taiwan is finally here, serving a variety of fresh milkshake which indeed would brighten up your day. City Milk implement a good concept with combination of fresh fruits and milk which is revolutionizing the drinking culture in the country. It has become the popular daily beverages in Taiwan. The beverages they serve are all natural and healthy!
Ikan Menari RM38.80 Rasa Utara's signature dish ,the freshwater fish marinated with spices and herbs was fried till crispy outside yet soft and fluffy on the inside. The signature blend of caramelised sweet soy sauce and sambal 'nuclear' (hot sambal) served on the side was the perfect accompaniment.
Overall, I do say this place does live up to the hype.
For example we really like this Unagi Bao RM28. Small in size, big in flavours. Spicy, succulent unagi contrasted by crunchiness of deep fried nori, flavours lifted up with salted egg crumble and julienne cucumber for a refreshing crisp that comes in just right. Served over a basket of sweet potato chips.
THE LINGUIST (MYR 30) Sautéed Prawns and Clams with Chili Linguine, Garlic and Rocket Huge and fresh prawns were spotted!
Service is slow, food is nice, price is above average. Value for money item would be Fried Chicken and Curry Rice. Cheese cake with cream is pretty good.
Overall, the high cost of the meal (RM268 for 2.5 diners) wasn’t matched by the quality of food, so I don’t think I am likely to return in the near future. On the other hand, if I could get away with just having three courses of dessert, I might change my mind.
YURI / Matcha 6th Avenue Cheesecake! Priced at RM21, this is exclusively made available at The Tokyo Restaurant, Isetan The Japan Store, Lot 10. We personally prefer this to the original now as it has the right balance of sweetness together with the matcha. So velvety smooth and tasty!
Thanks to the friendly staff for recommending this Sup Ekor. So good! A hearty portion of tummy-warming, flavourful oxtail broth, richly seasoned with a bouquet of house spices, topped with celery cress and crispy shallot.
Reasons to visit Shook! The Starhill Dining: stylish new digs; menu catering to a variety of tastes; Dancing Prawns; grill menu; cocktails from The Alchemy; although wine by the glass is not particularly impressive their vertical collection of Chateau Mouton Rothschild dating back to the 1940s is worth at least a little envy.
The comprehensive spread of authentic Malay dishes includes all-time favourites such as Rendang Daging ‘Tok’, Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, Nasi Briyani, Sup Ekor and Bubur Lambuk
This place offer decent walnut and black sesame paste, most places taste like some factory made powdery taste. They did put some effort to make some dessert art for you.
I have high hopes on this Steamed Egg Custard @ RM 3.50.. However it was quite a let down in both taste and texture.
♥Verdict: Although the choices are quite limited but Restoran Ruby still is a decent place for Tong Sui especially if you’re a fan of Tong Sui in paste form like these.

Flavours were sweet and clear in most of the dishes, as what Hongkong-style does: allowing the natural goodness of ingredients to shine. With wellness very much in mind, the dishes are well executed with minimal use of oil and hard flavouring
這裡絕對能滿足您對海鮮的食慾,肯定不讓你失望!
Inspired by the Chong Qing-Grilled Fish, Fatt Kee Roast Fish has recently gained a lot of attention from netizens due to its gigantic serving with loads of Seafood swimming in the huge pot. The concept is not new- Deep Fried Fish with Seafood (like Prawns, Squid, Flower Clams) and vegetables soaked in a spicy-savory Seafood broth; served in the way similar to Hot Pot/ Steamboat. The spiciness varies and can be tuned accordingly but the heat-intolerant should be extra careful on selecting the spiciness as it can be lip-burning hot. It can be then enjoyed just like an ordinary Hot Pot, with extra condiments like Udon, Vegetables and Seafood to be added. Do note that there are two branches and both locations are near to each other; one is air-conditioned while another one is al-fresco setting. The flavors were fun and the combination was exciting, a place worth visiting.
Overall, we enjoyed the food in Fatt Kee Roast Fish and will come back again for more. They don’t take reservation so be there early to get your table and the crowd starts coming in after 7pm. Fatt Kee Roast Fish Pudu 發記招牌特色烤鱼 opens from 5pm to midnight daily.
Healthier mooncake selections include Snow Skin Shiro Umeboshi With Green Tea Paste and Baked Bamboo Charcoal Paste With Salted Egg Yolk would go well with the health-conscious customers.
Durian lovers can indulge in the second offering which is the Snow Skin Durian Paste With Truffle
Steamed Cod with Chinese Ham Served with Honey and Supreme Stock Paste The generous portion of the cod comes perfectly good to our tastebuds. The cod is perfectly steamed together with the Chinese Ham bringing you the aromatic flavours . The dish is just awesomely good where the fish remains its flaky texture but the flavours are enhanced by the Chinese Ham as well as Supreme Stock Paste.

看来吃过庸记的牛腩面后,我的味蕾又再次被宠坏了。
Taste:9/10(Delicious. Satisfied with the meals here. So far they seems to serve the best beef noodles in KL. Portion were good. I tried both version of soup and dry beef noodles and found that dry version taste better. Also their dry version with peanuts which makes the noodles taste better. The meat is soft. The tendon is good and normal beef noodles bowl came with beef balls & tripes. I order extra honeycomb which is very tender and taste good in beef broth. You also have option to add crispy fish skin for tastier option)
The tendons were so good and soft. Good till the last morsel.
Originated from Seoul, Chir Chir (치르치르) is the largest fried chicken chain in Korea with over 100 stores in China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Honey Butter Chicken (RM24.90) A highly addictive dish which I agree with crispy boneless fried chicken chucks with potato wedges and rice cakes, tossed with honey butter sauce and seasoning.
Started with this Rose Cheese Chiqueen, a cheesy chicken platter that’s going to become cheese lovers’ new favourite! Fried chicken tenders stacked over a bed of fondue cheese, topped with chunky potato wedges and cherry tomatoes, further heaped with mozzarella sauce.

I totally enjoyed the Steamed Giant Garouper with Cordyceps Flower, Stir-fried Prawns with Hawthorn Sauce, Braised Pork Knuckle with Dried Oysters & Sea Moss and who can say No to a glistening BBQ Crispy Suckling Pig?
A traditional favourite on the menu this festive season is the Steamed Clay Pot Rice with Chinese Waxed Meat. Made with Chinese sausages specially flown in from Hong Kong, this dish requires up to 45 minutes to prepare for the flavours of the vegetables, Chinese herbs and meat to infuse into the rice leaving a distinct and rich flavour.
