This place offer decent walnut and black sesame paste, most places taste like some factory made powdery taste. They did put some effort to make some dessert art for you.
I have high hopes on this Steamed Egg Custard @ RM 3.50.. However it was quite a let down in both taste and texture.
♥Verdict: Although the choices are quite limited but Restoran Ruby still is a decent place for Tong Sui especially if you’re a fan of Tong Sui in paste form like these.

The Kacang Kuih was good too. They added a generous portion of crushed peanut filling, which I appreciated because lets be honest, most of the kuih filling these days are getting smaller in portion size, lol. Another thing I liked was the powder flour that usually comes with this specific dessert, there was little here. Normally, by the time I was done with this kuih, there would be ‘ white powder’ all over my mouth but this one here, let’s just say I could ‘hantam’ peacefully without a worry.
It was thick but alas not sweet enough for me. I know nowadays most operators try to cut down on sugar for their customers.
Taste:8/10(Good. Tried their peanut paste and almond with black sesame paste dessert. Both taste quite good. They are still using those traditional grinder to make those desserts).
On the other hand, steamed egg custard was great. It tasted like the egg tarts filling in warm variant.
The sugar water shop hidden in Pudu was actually a "fourth generation descendant" operating a pinch!
