Verdict: Wonton noodles with the “cafe standard” price range, I’m quite happy with the portion as well as the food quality. Revisit? Yes, perhaps for their latest offering of ramen and desserts.

Wan tan noodle is cook to perfection where it is springy and delicious. Portion is like kopitiam big wantan mee. Serve with both fried wantan and soupy wantan.

              我非常喜欢他们的室内设计和那种氛围, 除了有一面大大的落地窗之外, 在餐厅各个角落还可以看到漫画的踪影哦~

I'm not sure when this happened but I discovered recently that despite years of eating wantan mee as a child, I've grown un-fond of it in my adult years - something that I didn't know was even possible. Ezel discovered Ru Di Fook and its glittering reviews and decided to drag me along to this place that I could only describe as a hipster wantan mee restaurant.

Conclusion: if you love HK-style wantan noodle, you need to check out Ru Di Fook as soon as possible before more people know about this place. During our visit, the restaurant was already swamped with customers so service felt short.

Noodle wise, only dry Hou Pak Dong Mee in traditional black soy sauce was not too bad, especially on the toppings. Pork wanton, kailan, Japanese ajitsuke egg, yuzu BBQ pork and Signature crispy skin roasted pork beautifully laid in generous portion of duck egg noodle. You can top up RM2 to change into rice base with telur bujang (pan fried egg with crispy edges) – the comfort food version.

Few days ago, I popped by Ru Di Fook Noodle Bar, a Chinese-Fusion restaurant, and also one of the newest kid on the block. For me, it was a rather refreshing scene, to see the modernization of a Chinese restaurant, seeping into the Western cafe culture. Let's, at least try, to give the cafe scene a bit of oriental twist, shall we?
